Trump health care plan is to let the private sector compete for your business. Remove all the artificial barriers that stifle competition. And allow medical savings accounts. So he does not have a plan like Obamacare or Romneycare or Cruzcare. He believes that there will be dozens of plans to choose from if providers are forced to compete with one another. I tend to agree. Oh and he would kept medicare for the retired. And have something like medicad for the very poor.

HE didn’t boast. Every time that’s been brought up, it was brought up by someone else. First it was Rubio, but nobody seems insinuate that Rubio was classless by doing that. Trump had to have been stunned!

Did the Donald back down? No. But HE is the classless asshat?

I was at the rally when someone in front of the camera area commented about the hands, Trump just held them up! But, on the TV, you couldn’t hear that comment by the person near the cameras because there were no microphones. People watching ACCUSED TRUMP of bringing up the subject!

I’m glad, very glad, that Trump has the graciousness to call the people of this country, Great. I’m glad he sees that because quite frankly, I don’t.

Trump definitely has the advantage, here, against Hellary.

The others look like altar boys, up against her. She will make mincemeat of ABT (Anyone but Trump).

Romney needs to take his magical clad @ss back to UT or CA or wherever it is he claims as home. He couldn’t even fend off Candy Crowley!!! She beat his butt like cake batter. So will Hellary.

Go on his web site and READ THE HEALTHCARE PLAN AND THE TAX PLAN.

Has HE gone to his website and read what his positions are supposed to be?

Why can't he state "his positions" in real time?

My belief is that he has a team that informs him, as he seeks the nomination, as to what is conservative and what isn't. Often, he'll flub something during a debate, because he doesn't know what "his conservative stance" should be...then he has to go back and "clarify" his position.

His website states all of the right positions because his "This is conservative, this isn't" team has directed his website developers.

"These “debates” haven’t exactly been designed to allow for substantive content."

Haha! Convenient for him because Donald isn't designed to allow for substantive content either...

No, what you can’t make up is Lil Marco bringing that topic up.

GOPee went there, first. Trump hits back, harder than he’s attacked.

We don’t own a TV so we are not seeing the ads. I hope Trump will put up some positive ads and fill the airways with them starting this week. Trump’s proven to be a master of media manipulation thus far so hopefully he has a plan on how to counter this PAC-madness.

Rubio and Cruz are taking nastiness to a new level, Trump is being dragged into the mud by them and Romney. Cruz is playing a voter suppression game that will only hurt the eventual GOP nominee. It is politics at the dirtiest level thanks mainly to Ted Cruz campaign manager. Trump only hits back in self defense.

More like the last thirty years. Donald Trump has a schtick (Yiddish Word meaning "gimmick, comic routine, style of performance, etc., associated with a particular person") which has served him well and it will be hard for him to abandon it to play act statesman. It's his strength but it's also his vulnerability.

In the almost eight months until the general election the Democrats and their media army of orcs will drive home that Trump is a mafia associate, misogynist, Richie Rich trust fund brat, serial adulterer, beauty show barker/pimp, egotistical, ill mannered, rude, and crude monster. Simon Legree with a comb over. Statesman? Knowledgeable in how to manage government in a constitutional republic? Or even someone you'd feel comfortable inviting over to meet the family if you had an attractive seventeen year old daughter?

He polls poorly against Hillary because most people know what a president is "supposed" to look and act like. His fans can't see it and don't care, which is why arguing with them is as futile as with an Obama worshipper.

This is the source of my profound discomfort about him. That this is exactly who he is and he cannot adjust to circumstances. That reacting, and occasionally, responding to, real and perceived attacks or criticism is the overiding motivator in his mind. That his revenge philosophy will dictate his policies.

We’ve become so deeply angry. This man has spoken to that and further, told us he understands and shares our rage and that he can and will repair the damage to our beloved country. What happens if we find we’ve made a dreadful error after he’s the nominee?

It seems we’ve become SO focused on our hopes for America with him as the vehicle that we may not have really looked at the vehicle. We’ve got our hearts set on THIS car. We like how it seems to be. Anyone pointing out the tires tread is worn, or the oil leaks cannot be trusted. But that doesn’t change the fact of the leaks or tread.

You’re not supposed to say that these days. You’re not supposed to say that about Dondi, either.

Trump is tweeting he is going to combat these AD’s vis Twitter & Facebook. IMO, this is really risky but I have to assume he knows what he is doing.

I think you should walk a mile in his shoes first. Its easy to snipe and nearly impossible to nail the perfect tone when being attacked with lies from all sides. You are asking the impossible. If you don’t fight back you lose for sure and you need to look aggressive to fight back. Romney was polite and they steamrollered him.

People that parse every comment made by a candidate against their personal idea of Presidential are part of the problem. While you are waiting for your perfect candidate the horses are out of the barn and being loaded onto the Global Express train. Dictators can look presidential, the cavalry not so much...

It is the 11th hour...who’re you going to call?
Trump is my idea of Presidential, he calls out the liars and corruption, he is committed to America and Americans being stronger, better, safer and more secure. He wants to bring opportunities and roll back Government encroachment. He is fairminded and seeks the advice of experts in each area. He looks for competence not partisan ideology. The rest is just the cover, I’ve read the book.

Maybe not, but don’t complain about him not giving enough details in a 60-90 second window; something at which everyone else is also failing (except for my main choice, Cruz).

Besides, if Donald isn’t designed to do this, then Robot Rubio DEFINITELY isn’t and I’m not sure what Kasich is still doing in this race.

" What happens if we find we’ve made a dreadful error after he’s the nominee? "

We made a dreadful error the time before this.

and the time before that,

and the time before that,

and the time before that,

and the time before that,

and the time before that,

and the time before that.

At what point do we recognize a trend? At what point do we recognize that we've been doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results?

If you haven't seen for yourself the contradictions Trump makes in his statements, it certainly won't do any good for me to point some of them out. I'll note a couple of critical ones, for my own good.

He wants to deport all illegal aliens, but he wants to "EXPEDITE the legalization of the 'good' ones". I call that amnesty.

He wants to repeal Obamacare, but he 'likes' the insurance mandate. He doesn't want to have people 'dying in the streets' by giving them government single payer medical care.

He wants to punish business for producing off shore, except of course for his own clothing lines since 'you can't make clothing in the US any more'.

He wants free trade, except for a 45% import duty on China and others (who will immediately reciprocate, killing US exports - and don't reply with the line "we don't export anymore. We are the third largest exporting country in the world. It was export duties and their reciprocation by other countries that turned a bad recession into the Great Depression)

etc., etc., etc.
