Donald Trump’s seemingly unstoppable march to the nomination has intensified “establishment” Republican criticism of The Donald, especially after his big win in the Super Tuesday primaries and his trademark insults and evasions during Thursday’s debate. Indeed, Trump has been explicitly targeted by super pacs, sitting Congressmen, Mitt Romney, a Twitter campaign, and an anti-Trump statement signed by 100 foreign policy experts.

Hmmmmm... Interesting theories. I have always thought that Trump was created as the result of the hydrogen bomb testing at Bikini island.

I think I’m more of a “religious nut job, that likes my walls and my guns” and I get particularly irked by those that would try to disregard me as some sort of kook or whacko. But, out of past courtesy to a “party” I have supported the GOPe too. I won’t again.

One of my nephews left a few years ago and has been living and working in the Phillipines ever since. A friend’s son, who is currently a Captain in the US Army, is getting out and moving to Spain. They’ve see what America is becoming and want no part of it.

I did much the same thing back in 1979 when I left California, never to return (except for weddings and funerals). But I will never leave my country. I will go down with the ship.

I personally think it was an experiment in the underground Rovian lab that went totally awry.

Tons of guns, you can practice your religion all you wish, just dont force it on me! the US is NOT a theocracy..

Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they’re sure trying to do so, it’s going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can’t and won’t compromise. I know, I’ve tried to deal with them. Barry Goldwater...

Rush Limbaugh: ‘Bigger upside than downside’ if Donald Trump wins GOP nomination

By S.A. Miller - The Washington Times - Sunday, March 6, 2016

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh bucked the GOP establishment Sunday and declared there is “a much bigger upside than downside” to Donald Trump winning the Republican presidential nomination.

“I think with the case of Trump, there’s a much bigger upside than downside,” Mr. Limbaugh said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

The praise from the king of conservative talk radio came as the Republican establishment launched a massive offensive to derail the front-runner, including a scathing denouncement of Mr. Trump last week from 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Mr. Limbaugh said that despite the outrage GOP leaders have directed at Mr. Trump, the billionaire businessman and reality TV star had assembled the broad coalition of voters that the Republican establishment has long sought.
