My own view is that the big cities are going to be bad for a while. Everything’s decentralizing anyway because of computers. Why live and work like sardines?
It’s difficult to support a world class symphony, art museum, or opera in the boonies. Or pro sports teams. I’m not saying city life is better than rural. I do not live in a large city myself, but I do live in a large urban area. But there are some things that people like about living in cities.
i’m working on staten island now because I can’t travel anymore to the city regularly.
I miss the fast pace but i’m older and had my fill.
