Agreed. And the two were nothing short of a love story. They made a great team - in everything.
I was never that big a fan of Nancy Reagan, but she knew when it was time to retire from public view, as did her husband. I only wish others ( hear that Bob Dole, Jimmy Carter) would learn from them.
Yes they were. So fortunate for those of us to remember how supportive they were of one another. Absolutely my favorite President of my time. She only complimented him with her grace and love. A lovely couple.
