If a Republican cannot win this election after 8 years of dismal failure and America-hating rhetoric and policies, and the candidate to take over from him is being investigated by the FBI, was an accomplice for her rapist husband, and has more scandals than you can count, and is in general a horrible witch, then something is very wrong.
If it’s not winnable this year, it never will be.
I’m afraid we’re pretty much in the early part of a 50-75 year period of liberal ascendancy and dominance. Things will change only when they have to (the money runs out).
It brings me no pleasure to say this. But the idea that a conservative golden age is around the corner, but we need a Rubio or Cruz to lead it, is patently ridiculous.
We should take what we can get.
