Well, of 300 American applicants, 17 get hired? That’s impressive honesty?
It's pretty good. I would bet at least half are people that applying so they can say they applied for a job as part of their unemployment payments. They have no intention of working but have to show they applied to keep their benefits. Out of those probably another third are non-starters for various reasons. Out of what's left many will quit on their first day, two days or week.
It’s honesty. Maybe not the answer we want, but it’s true.
