we’ve gotten two anti-Trump mailers here in FL. Nice big glossy colorful things. Someone has a lot of money to spend. I expect they will keep piling up. Doesn’t matter. early voting has started here in FL.

I thought the “Rubio is this gay guy whose face can’t be seen in this blurry picture” accusations were pretty far fetched, but this is just laughable. There’s no indication that this nutter is even a Cruz fan, let alone that Cruz or his people are responsible for what the nutter is doing.

“Did the Cruz campaign do it or someone who wanted it to look like the Cruz campaign did it?”

You have Cruz on TV pushing the Trump = KKK meme.

You have his supporters on FR and the likes of Beck, constantly making references to Trump = Hitler or his supporters = brownshirts. you even got some of his retarded flunkies on FR spelling Trump’s family name the same they spelled it in Germany before coming to the U.S.....you know because no reason whatsoever, right?

But an sign like this?

“Oh how can you think anyone with the Cruz campaign would do that??? That’s just silly talk!!!”

“Sorry, but today nothingburger is on the menu.”

It is something. We just have no way of knowing at the moment who is responsible for the offense.

Those will be historical collectibles someday.

Actually I have found regressing back to the "good old days" refreshing. Can I offer you a bowl of Capn Crunch?

Isn’t it weird that it had a buttery flavor?

I can still happily munch Peanut Butter Crunch out of the box.

I could design a better one just using his name twice.

Who is worse? The GOP or the Left?

You are saying that Carson, Rubio and Kasich all voted in Texas at the same polling place that Cruz is assigned to? You have any pictures to prove that?

“Every candidate has their fringe followers. I highly doubt the Cruz campaign created this sign.”

Likely to be quite true. However, Cruz did smear Trump with the Duke and KKK accusations, so this incident could end up being seen, rightly or wrongly, as another intentional or unintentional continuation of the same unethical campaigning and dirty tricks. If the Cruz campaigners had nothing to do with it, the consequences may prove to be ironic.

“Who is worse? The GOP or the Left?”

Hasn’t the consensus been that the GOP has been a wholly owned subsidiary and Charlie Brown puppet of the DNC for most of the last century? Isn’t that what is fueling this Trump revolt for GOP, Independent, and Democrat voters?

The use of the words (Trump X4) to create the swastika in the negative space between the words is far more clever than anything I've seen come out of any GOP graphic artist in a long time.

Its informative to know that Ted Cruz has his own polling places.

Where are Donald Trump’s “polling places”?

****

They have their own, donchaknow.

In fact, it should be noted that Trumpsters have their own special voting days and should report for voting at the Trump polling places on the 2nd day of each primary/caucus.

In 1960, on behalf of his brother, Bobby Kennedy had anti-Catholic mailers sent to known Catholic homes. They had Nixon’s name on them.

I learned that tidbit from Roger Stone, Trump’s former advisor, current supporter, and likely behind-the-scenes advisor to this day. Stone has long been known as an expert dirty trick man. He wears that label proudly.

My point: anyone could have created that sign, including Trump’s people.

The vitriol this race has engendered here at Free Republic is sad. I’m not excited about any of the candidates, so I’m not going to fall-out with huge swaths of my fellow FReepers merely because of who they back in this very strange primary season. I believe many here need to step back for perspective. Cruz isn’t the devil and Trump isn’t a savior. And vice versa.

This is weak, no evidence that these signs came from Cruz or supporters. I am surprised the TEA Party wesbsite that is carrying this article did not do more investigation. Remember all the plants and misinformation about the TEA Party, Supposed racial slurs, KKK, blah blah. I guess the TEA party is now the establishment...
