Cruz sets the tone for his organization and his quislings here on FR.
Like that last dirty trick (there's so many I can't remember them all)---Cruz threw they guy under the bus, when you can be sure he was acting if not on Cruz's explicit instructions, he was acting on the organizational CULTURE of Cruz's bunch: that lying and dirty tricks and anything you can get away with that advance the cause are ok.
The question isn’t the meaning of the term “socialism.”
The question is how “for the destitute” translates to “for every American.”
You have refused repeatedly to explain how the first phrase means the same thing as the second phrase.
Since the lie told by Cruz, Shapiro, Klavan, and you, consists of insisting that the two phrases mean the same thing, that is the real question.
BTW: You gratuitously ASSERTED that I don’t know the meaning of “socialism,” and then have repeatedly insisted that THAT is the question.
Your intellectual dishonesty is manifest. I am not responding in hopes of reversing a lifetime of intellectual dishonesty. I am responding to you only for the benefit of third parties whom you might have deceived.
Tell me how the phrase “for the destitute” translates to “for every American.”
You won’t answer the question, of course, because to do so would merely expose (further) the lie that you have been retailing.
Ping
Here’s NEWSMAX telling the same lie you’ve been repeating. Except that, because they quote the words they’re lying about, they undermine their own lie:

Here’s Trump’s plan. As you can see, you have been repeating a lie told by Cruz.
Of course, you knew all along that you were lying, because “for the destitute” does not mean “for every American.”
You still don’t understand what socialism is, I don’t assert it, you demonstrate it with every word that comes out of you.
Go educate yourself and get back to me when you know better.
Until then we’re both wasting our time.
Talking to you is a waste of time because you are intellectually dishonest.
Explain how the phrase “for the destitute” means exactly the same thing as “for all Americans.”
Explain that, I will withdraw my accusation that Cruz is a liar and that you have been retailing his lie.
You’re still pretending that I said something that indicates that I don’t know what socialism is.
And you’re also pretending that that was ever the issue.
I notice that I keep asking one simple question, and you keep pretending I never asked it.
Here is my question again:
How does “I will not allow the poorest of the poor to die in the streets for lack of healthcare” translate into “socialized single-payer healthcare for every American”?
Each time you pretend that I never asked that question, you are shouting to the world that you are intellectually dishonest.
Several hours have gone by, and you continue your pretense that I never asked this question:
How does “I will not allow the poorest of the poor to die in the streets for lack of healthcare” translate to “single-payer socialized healthcare for every American”?
You continue to scream to the world that you are intellectually dishonest.
Your very question betrays your ignorance, and as I have said stop wasting my time until you educate yourself.
Of course, any third parties who read this thread can see that I never said anything that suggests that I am ignorant of the meaning of the word "socialism," as you claim.
Anyone reading this can see that the meaning of the word "socialism" is a Red Herring.
Of course, any third party reading this can see that it is you who refuse to answer the REAL question, and that you are therefore providing proof of your intellectual dishonesty.
The LIE that Cruz told, and which you repeated, was to take Donald Trump's promise that the destitute would not "die in the street," and claim that this meant that Trump supported "socialized, single-payer healthcare for every American."
So: How does providing healthcare for the destitute translate to "socialized, single-payer healthcare for every American"?
Of course, it doesn't. It's preposterous. Proof that Cruz, and you, are dishonest.
