Four teenagers have been charged with breaking into a Minneapolis school and beating up a student.

It all allegedly began with an argument on Facebook. Three 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old then allegedly went into the school using a door that is typically locked to the outside.

They found the student involved in the social media argument and ran for him, punching and kicking him, the charges state. A teacher tried to break it up and ended up with a broken finger.

Sounds like at least two of them are black. Probably all four.

I work in the Minneapolis metro area on school property improvements all the time. I used to be able to walk in any door for a drink of water or use a bathroom.

Now I have to go through the front door, show my drivers license, wear a badge and be supervised if I want to go inside to take a leak. It will only get worse.

It is predominantly white and wealthy. The unfortunate thing is, they bus in students from the hood. This enables the government to offer the school grants for teaching students who normally would not have a chance of a good education to receive one.

Now that I’ve explained why, let me explain what it has done. My daughter goes to this school. Although it is very safe, there are groups of students that don’t give two sh!ts about education. They have brought drugs to school and have quite a business, evidently. They pick on the good students, my daughter included. The teachers don’t give them a lot of attention because they refuse to learn. They go there because they are forced to. Until they drop out or get kicked out. It’s all business and it hurts everyone involved. A very good school in an upscale neighborhood gets dragged to the ditch because they are leveraged by the government to “keep it equal”.
The teachers know who the good kids are and spend their time with them. That is the good news. It’s not just Minneapolis, it’s coming to a school near you.

Now here’s a thought ... how long do you suppose it will be before news outlets stop publishing the names of black criminals because the names identify them as black and it is therefore racist to include them in the news?

I remember when the Dallas newspapers (there were two majors at the time) stopped publishing pictures of black criminals to suppress the notion that most crime was committed by blacks. But they continued to publish street and ‘hood names, so we still knew what was what.

It is. I used to live not far from there.

The neighborhoods range from middle-class rambler-style homes all the way to large mansions around the Lakes.

It’s not the kind of school where I’d expect something like that to happen - even in Minneapolis.

You just made me realise something. It hasn’t been that long ago, IIRC it was the big thing in the Nineties, for schools to either close for a day or to have counseling instead of classes when a student died. I haven’t heard of that happening in donkey’s years, and I am wondering if it’s because there are so many deaths of “teens” in the inner city schools that if they closed or held “counseling” for the entire student body for the entire day, they’d teach even less than they already do.

The names give it away almost every time, that is, when the perps themselves don’t give it away by uploading their brave exploits to “Word Star Hip Hop” or some such site. They not only have no shame, they have no fear of punishment or retribution.

I’m sure many schools will adopt the practice of making the schools look like prisons. That being said, Southwest High School is not one. They have just added additional buildings of glass to the original brick and mortar school. It’s very high tech and beautiful.

I believe they just need to re-evaluate the need of bussing in kids that do not want to learn. Especially in an area that is upscale and depends on people coming in from residential areas because of the local shopping and dining.

The same sort of government attempts to force integration have ruined many schools and neighborhoods where I live also.

They “integrate” the non-ghetto schools and promote more so-called white flight.

Then they repeat the process.

The area around Southwest High School looks as if it is almost pure white on this interactive demographic map

White and black has little to do with "Ghetto Thug" culture anymore. As further evidence of our country's slide in to oblivion, people of all ethnicities and races are embracing it with gusto.

You are assuming there is an equal rate of violence between the two groups?

Using your logic there is a 50% chance it was girls, not guys.

In the olden days students like this would be expelled. Now, because of our Department of Justice many violent students don't get expelled or even suspended.

They only hiding *some* of the crimes. Our Department of Injustice monitors the suspension rates in high schools. They are demanding equality of suspension and expulsion rates for different racial groups.
