Voting for a person you want is never a “wasted vote”.

I vote for the person I want, not the one I am told to vote for. It is my vote and I shall give it to whomever I choose.

Here, here, no vote, if it reflects your honest opinion, is ever wasted. I have had to compromise in previous general elections but I never compromise in a primary.

I voted for Cruz for Senate, and am damn glad I could vote for him in the Presidential primary.

JLA, you are more than welcome to advocate for your candidate. Who I vote for, however, is my choice.
