State Department officials declared 261 of Hillary Clinton's private emails classified Monday when the agency released the final batch of the former secretary of state's records.
The batch included 1,723 emails, totaling more than 3,800 pages. Its release marked the end of a months-long process of reviewing and redacting Clinton's private emails for release at the end of each month, a process that began last summer with a judge's ruling in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by Jason Leopold of Vice News.
The State Department has now classified more than 2,000 emails, including 22 that were deemed "top secret" in January.

We may not have to imagine for very long. The FBI has reportedly recovered most of the deleted emails.
I posted this on another thread a few weeks ago:
I know Im in the minority here at FR, but Hillary will be indicted, and heres why.
We know how much the Clintons hate Obama for “stealing” the WH from Hillary eight years ago. We know how much Obama (Jarret) hates the Clintons for their treatment of him during the campaign and because HE wants control of the party after he leaves office.
This fight has been going on for 8 years. Obama knows that if Hillary is elected, he is out, and the Clintons are back in at the top of the party.
Low and behold, Clinton scumbag Eric Holder is out, and NY AG Lynch comes in with a reputation for prosecuting corruption cases.
Everyone seems to think that the Obama admin is leaking info to needle Hillary, but more likely it is Clinton people on the inside leaking (like they did during the Star investigation) to create the “Vast-Right-Wing-Conspiracy” smokescreen because they see the FBI, Intelligence community and Lynch putting together a rock-solid case against Hill, Bill, and maybe even Webs daughter.
Obama gets control of the party, the ability to hand-pick his successor, a legacy of “Ethical Administration” (cough, cough) for prosecuting a top Dem, and Lynch gets the big white scalp(s) shes always wanted.
I think they need to spring the trap just before the convention, after she has enough delegates, so they can “broker” in the nominee (Biden or the White Squaw) they want. They create last-minute momentum and avoid in-depth nominee exposure.

I would prefer to believe Bloomberg was told to be ready ASAP after the super Tuesday primaries for the announcement ot criminal referrals of Cheryl Mills and Huma Abudein
Squeeze the little fish until they scream in horror
If it was you or me we would be sitting at home with an ankle bracelet hoping the judge said five to ten if not life. This case will tell if the US is something other than a late Roman Empire meltdown.
I respectfully disagree about her knowing she did anything wrong. If you want to give her the benefit of the doubt the best I would say is that in the beginning she felt it was only a rules violation And being a good “I’m doing the Lord’s work” liberal it was perfectly legitimate to lie and cheat those evil people who wanted the truth. At some point early on she knew she was in deep. And now without a loving press and a corrupt Justice Department she absolutely knows she would be both eliminated as a candidate and indicted.
State Department officials declared 261 of Hillary Clinton’s private emails classified Monday. But, what was the lead story on the alphabet networks tonight? —Donald Trump does not disavow David Duke (after he already disavowed him several times.) It’s pretty bad for a guy like Trump when he has to run against the press, Hillary and his own party.
Yeah - I’ll go with that: she clearly acts as if she’s entitled to be above the law because her needs and wants are superior to the law.
She deleted them..not erased them. Big difference. The FBI has her hard drive. There still in there
Oh, yes. Gennifer Griffin said many weeks ago that her sources in the FBI told her that and she reiterated it tonight on Greta’s show. She has very good sources.
She also noted that one of the emails that could not be made public in the latest State Dept. release was because it was flagged by law enforcement.
I happen to share your sense that Hillary will be indicted -- so that Zero (VJ) can retain control of the Democrat party.
Aside from an indictment, though, a presidential pardon is a necessary part of the game. To insure her cooperation, Obama promises a pardon to Hill (and Bill) -- to be issued in January, before any trial can be scheduled. Moreover, in the interest of a Mutually Assured Destruction, there is agreement that all involved will keep their mouths SHUT!
I think that Hillary will be indicted.
She had some kind of money-making operation going on in Libya and sucked Obama into Libya to cover it up.
She’s toast.
C’mon. 0bama’s quid pro quo. He was in on it. “What’s in it for me?”
You almost have to destroy the hard drive to erase the emails. The FBI has got them. So sad for Hillary
In all honesty, I bet that she deleted many of the emails involving issues she was probably having with Obama...
I think it is more likely that many of the deleted ones were incriminating with regard to selling State Dept policy influence/changes for Clinton Foundation contributions. That was the main reason the private server approach was chosen in the first place, to shield that stuff from FOIA. Note that several weeks after the FBI got the server and likely started recovering deleted emails, it was leaked that the investigation had broadened to include Clinton Foundation aspects.
Hillary seems obsessed with gathering large sums of money, as has been well reported. Remember that a 39-year long string of Clinton staffers, operatives, troopers, fixers, advisers, Arkancide thugs, coroners, savings and loan staff, harassment and rape victims, etcetera, etcetera have to be kept quiet for as long as possible and that requires a lot of money. I would bet that a lot of the money the foundation spends on numerous consultants trickles down to these folks to keep them under control.
Excellent point.
