That would be quite interesting information. Because somebody gave them this story. Romney? Jeb?
The timing is interesting but of course the NYT knows Rush will absolutely hammer Hillary and support the Republican candidate and they want to diminish him.
I’d wager the NYT has scarfed down a few Schumer steaks themselves.
I’m just not shocked that politicians try to curry favor with members of the media. And I’m not shocked that any of them listen to what those jack wagons have to say. It’s not a secret secret.
I would love to know who gave them the story! None of the principles involved appear to have been willing to disclose it—so who knew, and went after these guys?!
I’m sure we will eventually find out.
