Hannity supported a Pathway
Daily Caller ^ | 11-11-2012 | Derek Hunter

Talk radio and Fox News host Sean Hannity is one of the biggest opponents of amnesty for illegal immigrants, but that wasn’t always the case. Hannity, who has anti-immigration candidate Donald Trump on his shows more frequently than any other presidential hopeful and has been a staunch critic of Florida Senator Marco Rubio ‘s past on the issue, supported a pathway to full citizenship for illegals in late as 2012 — months before the “Gang of 8” amnesty bill was written and when the New York Times says Rubio “pushed for immigration reform with conservative media.”

If you care about liberty, then you can’t import anti-liberty voters into the country and expect the country to remain the same or improve

I guess this makes for clicks, but it’s pretty small beans to find someone who used to be softer on immigration than he is now. People in general have seen the effects here and elsewhere, and toughened their stance.

Rilly? I didn't follow BOR, but as I remember, Rush and Levin did nothing but denounce the gang of 8, not to mention the earlier gang of 14.

True. I think many Americans didn’t realize the scale of the immigration problem, but maybe they’re starting to wake up.

I support a pathway. Apply for citizenship and wait for an answer.

The US should start sending all of it illegals to Cancun. I don’t care where they came from.

Yes, Hannity did .. and that’s when I stopped watching him. Besides that, Hannity was gun-ho for Rubio .. and was constantly praising him; to the point of being sickening.

We have been conned by Rushbo aka Apple Battery Boy. If Trump is elected they are through. Wouldn’t it be great no more guys who sit on their collective asses and pontificate to the rest of us. And never changed squat. Hannity mr. dirty air, dirty water blah blah blah crap forever. Levin who worked for Reagan who cares the guy is dead. I like winning and these guys aren’t winners. Things are worse off. They have been bad coaches and a great big con. Buy my books,ok Rush Revere and now what. Who paid for the golden mic we paid for it.

Trump was saying almost EXACTLY the same thing a year later.

Secure the border first, must have a permanent fix, you cant deport 12,000,000, must have a pathway, etc etc.

Rubio has changed slightly too..It is now secure the border first, permanent fix, pathway to legal status, but not citizenship.

Cruz is to my knowledge the only one who hasn’t changed his stance although he did offer an amendment to the Gang of Eight which said he would agree to it, if and only if there was a amendment stating that no illegal alien could ever become a citizen and vote. The amendment, as he knew full well, was defeated BY Harry Reid and the left because full citizenship for illegals and the vote is their #1 priority.

Hannity was once part of the if it’s good for business then it’s good for the US.

Hannity was once part of the if it’s good for business then it’s good for the US.

There was a time when that was true. And I believe the construction "if it's good for small business, it's good for the USA" might still be true.

But large corporations started changing in the same pattern as government and education started to change -- ater the leftists took over acadaemia and started turing out little leftists. The current generation of managers is just as indoctrinated as the professoriat at your average Ivy League school.

If you follow history, it's really always been the same. Look at the experiments, for example, Henry Ford did in South America for example.

Maybe our Ivy League grads have refined the processes, but the in the late 1800's and early 1900's, the elites were more elite and the working class was little more than serfs.

The great explosion of the middle class really didn't happen until after WWII.
