Others have, but it is not a requirement. It started in the 1970s that candidates release their tax returns. For the most part, they have. Cruz and Rubio just have released partial returns.

Rush made the point a while back.
Go to the hospital and ask for the cash payment rate. Pay each health care person in cash.
The total cost is a small fraction of the cost you incur if you use your pre 0bama care insurance policy

-- My point is that they have now formed a tag team to take down Trump hoping for a brokered convention. --

I was saying that this "teaming" hasn't happened yet. But maybe, if they agree (not as in meeting to discuss) that each has a better chance to dilute Trump's share of delegates in some states. Rubio being okay with Cruz in to dilute the take in Texas; Cruz being okay with Rubio in to dilute Trump's take in Florida, etc.

-- When the dust settles, regardless of who gets the nomination, they will be on the same side preventing Trump from being the nominee. --

Absolutely agree. Cruz said as much already, Rubio is better than Trump. If Cruz drops out first, he will quickly move to endorse Rubio, for whatever that is worth.

I am back from church. It went will and, again, indeed, it was Pat Fish singing alto jutting out over the congregation....heh.

They did put a soprano up there with me.

The problem is that there is no easy way for the choir to huddle together....you know, like choirs do. Generally they have risers and next year we are getting them, so I am told.

So it’s a reverse horse shoe kind of thing from the choir balcony back to the main part of the choir. Me on one side and a soprano on the other are heard OVER the choir by the congregation below.....I sat down there once while the SCHOLA group, whatever the hell that is, and the person closet to the loft bannister is heard above the others.

But hey, guess whose songs we sang today? Well Father Thomas Flowers’ songs, what the hey?

All I know is the music pieces said “arranged by Rev. Thomas Flowers”.

Who knew he was a song writer? Not to mention fashion guru with that gorgeous vestment he had on today, a glorious deep purple with beautiful flowers (no pun intended) embroidered on the front..

And with me singing the songs written by Father Flowers.....heh, there’s got to be a hidden meaning there somewhere.

Now watching DVR of Meet the Press....I really loved those debates last week although I declare Wolf Blitzer the WORST debate moderator ever.

More on this later.

I got a kick out of Nikki Haley carrying the Romney/Haley Barbour talking points, for her Cabana boy.

So many RINO’s have been smoked out, by Trump. To see the establishment going after the GOP historic frontrunner, like Nikki/McRomney, et al are doing, is quite revealing.

Nikki just said that Trump’s ceiling is 35%. What a PAC paid wh, er, hack.

You're using my own old post.

I believe Cruz just filed an extension. As far as I know, not one single candidate has released their 2015 return.

And if they did...it's only the first two pages. Big deal.

Trump's tax return...even two pages...will bring them ALL to tears.

Several, here, have said that’s exactly what they’ll do, if Trump is the nominee.

He gets that _ _ it-eating grin and thinks he is being so clever when repeating rehearsed lines about Trump that someone else wrote for him.

He can use them again when he becomes a stand up comedian after realizing that he lost his senate seat in Fla, and his chance to become president or even VP

Go bye and good riddance Marco.

P.S. 2 Fla votes that will not be there for you Marco...

Check the voter outcomes in SC, IA, NV and SC. Trump is competitive in getting votes even from the voters who call themselves “Very Conservative”.

And the media hypes Hillary with her 50 % win on a lower turnout, and a majority of those votes coming from the minority population.....

Better watch out Hilly you should realize that some of those no shows probably voted for The Donald

Who else succeeded in stopping Rubio and the “gang of eight”? i>
Cruz is like the rooster claiming credit for the sun rising. The Gang of 8 bill passed the Senate 68-32 with 14 Reps voting for it

Snip

What really killed the bill in the House was the defeat of Cantor in the primary by Dave Brat, whom I helped. Sessions has said this is really why the effort was killed. Cantor was preparing to introduce a Rep version of the Dreamer amnesty. Brat used amnesty and the influx of foreign workers under the Gang of 8 bill. My grassroots immigration group funded 40,000 robocalls in the district informing Rep voters about Cantor’s plans.

You are spot on. The house leadership had met the previous Friday and they met again on the day Cantor was defeated. The only question was if Cantor or Boehner would introduce the bill. Brat’s victory stopped the effort cold.

Does anyone get the establishment MO? Now it’s tax returns but they’re always digging for one little thing that can ruin their target.

All the big things, the wall, our self-destructive trade, our 2nd Amendment, all get tossed because there’s something in his tax returns we might not like? Seriously?

As for Hillary Clinton...she did get tons of African-American votes yesterday (they must really like being held in economic/oppotunity slavery on the Obama/Clinton slave plantation)....however, not-so-many “White” folks votes for HC in South Carolina. I guess Democrat, “Whitey” has jumped the shark and gone over to Donald Trump since the Republicans got 738,000 votes in their South Carolina primary and the Democrat party put forward a ‘scrawny low number” of 372,000 votes last evening....shameful.....does not bode well for Democrats this coming November, 2016....Trump will carry South Carolina with his eyes closed!! Geez....the print & TV media never tell us things like this!!!

Thanks for posting. Was thinking about that this am amidst all the hoopla over Hilly winning by 50 %. The Dems have to be wondering why.....

The morning shows were enlightening today.
Cruz...very unlikeable
Rubio immature lightweight.
All talking heads exploding trying desperately to figure out a way Trump can be stopped.
As I listened to them I imagined their mouths moving out of sink as they screech about Godzilla coming to stomp them.

I was saying that this "teaming" hasn't happened yet.

Did you see/listen to the Tapper post debate interview with Cruz? around 4 minute mark

I saw some of the Sunday show interviews today. Cruz and Rubio are no longer attacking one another. It is Trump all the time. I am sure that is also the case on the campaign trail. They have some sort of agreement going forward.

Cruz and Rubio Caught Shaking Hands During Commercial Break, Met in Hallway Before Debate

But maybe, if they agree (not as in meeting to discuss) that each has a better chance to dilute Trump's share of delegates in some states. Rubio being okay with Cruz in to dilute the take in Texas; Cruz being okay with Rubio in to dilute Trump's take in Florida, etc.

I doubt that Rubio dilutes Trump's support in Texas or that Cruz dilutes Trump's support in FL. Carson and Kasich would have a better case for their voters.

Absolutely agree. Cruz said as much already, Rubio is better than Trump. If Cruz drops out first, he will quickly move to endorse Rubio, for whatever that is worth.

Both of them are so ambitious politically that I could see either one of them using their delegates to broker a deal that would benefit them personally, e.g., a political office or appointment. Remember these are first term senators who have the hubris to believe that they should be President despite a thin resume and lack of executive experience. It is reminiscent of Obama. Community organizer to first term senator to President. We see how that turned out.

I think the so called bombshell in Trump's tax returns is that he pays very little in taxes percentage wise. He has alluded to that by saying that he pays as little taxes as possible because he doesn't like how the government uses the money. I have no problem with that.

Trump is using the tax laws to his advantage just like Warren Buffet who said his secretary paid a higher percent in taxes than he did.
