That article mentioned that they tried to recruit rush but I don’t think he fell for it. I remember Sean Hannity worshipping rubio as some kind of conservative hero. I thought he went off his rocker.

Rubio lied to everyone. No one is a mind reader. That failure is on Rubio, not Sean, the Tea Party, Rush, Levin or anyone who merely took him at his word and supported him back then.
Limbaugh does not seem to be himself lately either. I don’t recognize him anymore.
Rush fell for it hook, line and sinker. It is absolutely disgusting how someone who should be for US sovereignty could allow something like allowing Rubio to appear unchallenged on his show. To this day Rush still claims to like Rubio knowing all he did to lie and betray conservatives. It’s not like Rush is from Mongolia. He lives in Florida so he knows what Rubio is and has done. Even if he lived in a shelter when he wasn’t on the air, Rush would have read the Eagle Forum report on Rubio. Limbaugh has no excuse. He’s just another member of the country club set.
