Good evening, radu...did you have a dry day?
I’m tired of packing boxes. The only thing left standing is our computers. Even the trash cans are in boxes.
Tomorrow we will finally see our space.

30 years ago in southern Indiana, a young man was bow hunting when he was approached by a pack of wild “dogs.” He shot the leader, and swore it was not a dog, but a coyote. The Indiana DNR was just as adamant that there were “no coyotes in Indiana.” Well, there are are now. Lots of them, everywhere. We’ve seen them run through the back yard at night.

Hey there, Kathy.
I’ll bet you ARE tired of packing all that stuff. It’s even worse when it’s done last-minute like y’all have to do.
Then there’ll be the rush to get it all unpacked so you can get your jobs done. Yuck!
It was spitting snow all day - at 44 degrees! - though nothing stuck. Weird weather.

Farmers eradicated coyotes in this area years ago and the wildlife folks quietly brought more in. People kept saying they saw them and others told them they were crazy.
Now there are a LOT of them and, of course, the farmers are furious. They kill livestock and that’s money out of the farmers’ pockets.
We’ve had a few cats disappear and figure coyotes got them. Now all the outside cats stay indoors at night.
Fortunately, this old farmhouse is large so it isn’t TOO crowded.

I’m sure all of you are! That’s a load that was dumped on y’all and the new landlord hasn’t made things any easier for you.
At least it’ll be over soon and I hope it turns out y’all have enough space to work.

Yes, it is a mood changer! LOL!
Mama owl is snacking on a rat. I keep hoping to see the baby, but so far she’s not moving. :)

She stood up briefly a little earlier but I didn't save the screen cap. It didn't show the owlet well. But someone posted a darling screen cap they got this afternoon and I snagged it. LOL
Just look at that sweet lil face peeking out from under Momma's tummy ....

Good night, beachy, and sleep tight.
Mom was ok, but circumstances (”lots of fruit in the last few days”) kept her in the bathroom. When you can’t move very fast, accidents tend to happen. I finally talked her into the walk-in tub and I even washed her hair. She’s soaking now and will call when she’s ready to get out.
I need to get a phone in the bathroom. Either my sister or I call...if no answer, again in 5 minutes, and then again in 5 more minutes. My sister texted and said no answer after 20 minutes. If she should fall in there, she would bang her head on something, guaranteed. Time to worry a little. She does have her LifeAlert around her neck, and they call me first.
