Well, Trump would be in office for 4 years and 10% of 20 billion per year is 2 billion dollars per year
They will have no choice but to pay for it, if all goes according to Mr. Trump’s plan.
If they don’t pay for it outright, America will save a fortune in welfare, medicare, overrun schools, crime, and add to that all the money that leaves the country when illegals send it back to their relatives in Mexico.
If they wind up having to pay tariffs/taxes on products coming into the country, then all of the above savings are just icing on the cake. A big, high, multi-tiered cake.

Easy enough to fix with some administrative rules. For example, if you're buying a money order and you cannot prove that you are a CITIZEN, there's a XX% tax that'll be withheld. If you're a citizen, no tax. If you are a legal permanent resident...OK, provide proof of the tax payment to the IRS, and you can deduct it as a withholding tax. Thus, all such payments by illegals, people here on work visas, people here who have overstayed their visas, etc. will be taxed.

No. That was Vincente Fox (zorro). All trump has to do is put a 55% tax on any wire account, WU transaction or any other bank transfer to Mehico, Panama, Guatemala, Iran, Gaza strip, etc., etc. Wall is paid for. Mehico goes broke and can wallow in misery while begging us to quit laughing at them.

A tax would have to pass Congress. Just make it a “fee”. It was good enough to put on every phone bill so Gore could say that he put the Internet in schools.
