I understand the meaning of retraction. First I need to know who Colin Henderson is. But, even in light of a retraction, how does that change the fact that Cruz’ team ran with it without checking a primary source (the video). Is this not the same sort of failing that the Cruz team did with Carson in Iowa?
Trump is even somewhat an "outsider" among the wealthy. His wealth empire is rooted, as Ann Coulter pointed out, in real estate. That is a wealth empire which is, under present legal structures, national in character, as opposed to global. Real Estate, as she pointed out, can't be 'outsourced', thus in order for Trump to even maintain what he has acquired, let alone expand on, he needs a strong US. Most of the other 'wealthy'? Not so much, and so they go willingly along with the whole 'globalist' schtick.
Were it to be understood that Trump has no interest in upsetting the globalist apple cart, then the visceral opposition to him currently would evaporate overnight, literally. That the opposition has not, indicates to *me* that he has given them no such assurances, and that none will be forthcoming...
the infowarrior
That's self-evident in the retraction.
What does...
"But this significantly changed the meaning of Rubio's words as originally transcribed"
...mean in the retraction? WHO changed the meaning? Not Cruz.
The average Japanese worker, for example, has more loyalty to there company than to their country. But they are still unwilling to throw open their borders to all comers. The foreign portion of their population has remained at about the same 1% since the postwar occupation was downsized. And it is considerably less than in the bad old empire days when they were using conscript labor from Korea, Manchuria and Taiwan.
THIS.
Globalism is the new Marxism, a utopian delusion that promises eternal peace and magic unicorns for everybody. To Soros, Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton being against globalism is being for war and suffering.
That this is a delusion is obvious when you look at what it takes to impose globalist "peace" on the whole world - endless wars!
It's not patriotic Donald Trump who wants war with Putin's Russia, it's the rainbow unicorn globalists!
They are that crazy.
No way. I’m seeing more and more people putting out facts about The Donald, showing that he is unelectable in the general, that he is a nasty fraud.
Soon these sniveling sultans of sham in DC and at the state levels will be humping Trumps leg.
You are correct!
Influence and money. Global influence and global money for the enrichment of our Politicians in Washington.
Considering that Trump generously supported RINO poster boy Mitt Romney, it is really tough to understand their opposition to Trump. The only big difference they have on the issues, as opposed to very different styles, is that Trump is even less sympathetic than “self-deportation” Romney to the open borders crowd.

Immigration and Trade. Its the whole thing.
Trump has moved to full on Jeff Sessions, hired one of his staff.
GOPe fear is real
Wonder what "Trump platform" would look like and how much damage it's going to do downstream to state and local races?
Good "deal" for Trump, Schwarzenegger, Ventura, Perot, Bloomberg â not so good for "conservatives" (what would that term even mean exactly, after rich celebrities are done with it?)
If he becomes President, he'll have to build the imaginary wall on his own, because he will have to "deal" with his friends in the majority Democratic Senate and House. I am sure he can do a better deal for himself with them, that's how he scammed billions from those who "invested in Trump" brand.
The Republican Party must understand that the country is angry not only at Democrats but Republicans too. Obama started the fire but the Republicans did nothing to put that fire out. Republicans gained many seats throughout the country, because of Obama plowing though without working to get the people behind him. Now the anger is everywhere and the voters will speak.
I have a suspicion that Trump will have to start taking money at some point in time if he wants to win. It costs about a billion dollars to run a successful presidential campaign and I seem to recall reading somewhere that Trumpâs net worth is only about $2.5 billion.
TRUMP INCREASES TURNOUT 100 PERCENT IN NEVADA.
People see that more people voted for Trump alone....than the entire 2012 voter turnout for the Nevada Caucus.
THAT is the TRUMP CARD. THAT is what gets you the White House and THAT is what the big money wants.
