I have a suspicion that Trump will have to start taking money at some point in time if he wants to win. It costs about a billion dollars to run a successful presidential campaign and I seem to recall reading somewhere that Trump’s net worth is only about $2.5 billion.
The GOPe will never see the light. They want an army of wetbacks to do their lawns, flip their burgers and paint their houses. Without them, they would have to employ actual Americans. And, we all know that there are a lot of jobs Americans won’t do . . . . for $7 per hour.
Come again? Could you better explain your point, please?
Oh I get it. English is not your native tongue. I would go ask your English Teacher for a refund because basic writing, and reading comprehension, skills are obviously alluding you still.
Once he secures the nomination, Federal Election Laws kick in and he will get the benefit $$ from the RNC and there will be PAC’s that he can’t control, but as long as he limits contributions to his personal campaign, the donor class will lose influence should he win.
Are these “cracks” manufactured with the same diligence as the “confrontation” that generation XBox PENNed out of , and then retracted back into, their arse —
Or is it just more yellow journalistic CRAP?
>>Oh I get it. English is not your native tongue.
What does “retracted” mean in MNJohannese?
Interesting to read this. Me thinks the big money people might be scared their own “secrets” would be spilled if they fund attack ads against Trump. Remember that odd Trump tweet last week about the Ricketts family of Chicago funding $5M attack ads against Trump? Trump tweeted that the Ricketts family better be careful - they have lots of secrets.
Trump acts purposefully. Last week’s “Ricketts” tweet was a shot across the bow of the donor class, saying that Trump knows where the skeletons are buried!
That reminded me of a Campaign slogan of Ex Governor Orville Faubus of Arkansas when he was running for reelection against a guy named Ricketts. His whole campaign was based on “We don’t want an outbreak of Ricketts in our State”. He won by a landslide.
Sure, we'd like to think that money won't play the big role in 2016 which it did in 2008 and 2012. But I'm not so sure.
So, I am guessing, you believe this story to be fabricated? I do not know the details about the “bible” story, as it relates to Senator Rubio, other then that it’s posting on Twitter by the guy media guy on Senator Cruz’ campaign got that guy fired (”forced resignation”).
“BHO” had no money of his own. He was bought and paid for by the likes of Soros. Still is. Why do you think he is so big on “clean energy” and “climate change”? Follow the money.
In addition to being bought and paid for by a very unsavory crowd, BO is a hard-core ideologue. So yes, even if Trump turns out to be a major disappointment, he will also be a major improvement.
It appears to me the "confrontation" was certainly fabricated.
"this significantly changed the meaning of Rubio's words as originally transcribed"
What is the retractor referring to there?
They said time was running out in August, then September, then October, November, December , January. They also said he had NO chance back in the summer.
Key sentence.
From the way the GOP establishment acts, you'd think that amnesty and open borders are THE most important issue defining a good, mainstream Republican, to the point where they reject any candidate who won't play ball on this.
I also wonder if it's all just due to the fact that their big donors rely on cheap illegal immigrant labor, or is it more due to the fact that the RNC wants to try to outdo the Democrats in pandering to "minority" voters (a task they will fail at, since the Democrats have been at it much longer).
It could also be ideological: the elites of both parties have a commitment to an economic and political order where borders and nations matter less than transnational corporations and bureaucracies. Liberal immigration policy is a cornerstone of the "Davos" worldview.
These are the same idiots who thought the “tea party” was a passing fad. They are also the ones who tried to co-opt the movement by forming tea party groups which they lead.
The GOPe will not crawl back into a hole and wait to emerge again. The only way to defeat them is to go full Conan.
They have destroyed Cruz who wouldn’t cut deals with the establishment. Trump they understand has no core beliefs. He will make deal, since polling shows he could win (he is polling closer to Clinton and sanders no).
They are fine the status is protected now.
Hmm. I just pinched myself and I'm pretty sure I don't feel like a passing fad.
What about you, you feel like a passing fad? I'm guessing probably not.
{Waving/glaring at the newseum, again...}
