NRA Board of Directors: Grover Norquist
Self

Posted on 02/25/2016 4:28:17 AM PST by Labyrinthos

The March 2016 American Rifleman contains this year's ballot for the NRA Board of Directors, as well as an "recall vote" to remove Grover Norquist from the Board for his alleged ties to radical Islam. I am not sure how I intend to vote and quite frankly, I don't know a lot about the controversy; but I am interested in the opinions of others here at FR.

I know that Glenn Beck has accused Norquist of promoting radical Islam, but Beck is a lunatic with little credibility.

If you want to take down an organization you need an up inside man and Norquist is Soros’ guy. See “destruction of America via installation of enemy infiltrator, Baraq Hussein Obama”, 2008 - 2016; Soros was Obama’s largest donor, pg. 666

Does not herald anything good about the NRA.

'is a board member of the ACU, and from the looks of CPAC's
covered topics and omission of discussion of jihad, it looks as if he exerts enormous
influence over David Keene, the ACU's nominal leader. Norquist and his ally Suhail
Khan seem to be in charge at CPAC - no CPAC event goes on that doesn't reflect their perspective. ….
Grover Norquist's troubling ties to Islamic supremacists and jihadists have been known
for years. He and his Palestinian wife, Samah Alrayyes, who was director of
communications for his Islamic Free Market Institute until they married in 2005, are very
active in "Muslim outreach.' …..
It was Norquist who ushered these silver-tongued jihadists into the Oval Office after the
worst attack ever on American soil. ….
Grover Norquist was on the jihad payroll before and after the carnage and death of
September 11….
Norquist also introduced Nihad Awad, cofounder and executive director of the Council
on American-Islamic Relations, to President Bush. ….
It is no surprise that CPAC 2010, like CPAC 2009, had nothing addressing the war we
are actually engaged in. This is due to the influence of Norquist, Keene, and Suhail Khan,
a CPAC board member. According to Gaffney, Khan "has repeatedly been a featured
speaker at MSA, ISNA and CAIR events" - that is, Muslim Students Association, Islamic
Society of North America, and Council on American-Islamic Relations, three groups
linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, the international Islamic organization dedicated to
establishing the rule of Islamic law and the subjugation of infidels worldwide.'

There was a quite lengthy thread a while back that chronicled his rise and how he fooled them in getting on the board; someone please link that.

If he is not voted off the board then the NRA is dead to me.

There are no “good” muzlims. There can’t be and this is insanity if otherwise.

The NRA has to get the word out to its members who Norquist is. He is a commie, muzzie tool.

If you have the slightest doubt, just don’t vote Norquist on your ballot. There are plenty of others to choose from.

Beck exposed him with fervor; don’t diss Beck on this front, as he did a very, very powerful and good job. That was a few months back. I am not a member simply because I don’t want to be on any lists - my house is quite safe, however - if you get my drift. This election snuck up on me which makes me ponder why everyone is quiet on Norquist now.

Read his ties to radical Islam here. Yeah Beck is certifiably looney but sometimes he digs up good info. Read this and you'll understand why Norquist is probably not a old guy to be on the board of the NRA. I'd say he's more than compromised. If memory serves correct I think he was an editor for one of George Soro's publications at one time too:

Interesting page number for that information.

Isn’t Norquist married to a Muslim?

Norquist is not on this year’s ballot for the Board; rather, this is a recall vote to remove him from the Board.

RecallGroverNorquist

Contained therein is a link to the Center for Security Policy article which includes the full pdf of a 100 page booklet detailing Norquist's muslim ties.

You can also google "Malkin+Norquist" to find much more that Michelle Malkin has compiled on him.

I voted to unseat him. There are many qualified people to take his place on the board who don't come freighted with distracting, unproductive controversy.

> Interesting page number for that information. Isn’t Norquist married to a Muslim?

yes. Sammah Alrayyes.

From the article: "In 2004, at age 48, Grover married a Palestinian Muslim named Samah Alrayyes, a Kuwaiti Public Relations specialist who was formerly a director of the Islamic Free Market Institute and specialist at the Bureau of Legislative and Public Affairs at United States Agency for International Development (USAID). (USAID is the United States federal government agency primarily responsible for administering civilian foreign aid.) The couple have two children adopted from abroad. (The Islamic Free Market Institute was founded by Norquist and Khaled Saffuri.) Grover has said he's a "white bread Methodist," however, a devout Muslim like Samah supposedly would not marry a non-Muslim, and of late, Grover has refrained from answering the question of his religion."
