We lost to Clinton because GHWB came across as not really interested in running. His campaign was very similar to Romney. Boring, not giving people a reason to vote. Then there was the capitulation to the Democrats on Taxes, showing the RINO side.
That is also why we lost to Obama in 2012. Romney didn’t give people any reason to vote for him. Came across as a rich northeastern elite not interested in ordinary people.
Trump is rich, but gives people a reason to vote for him. Brings energy, gives the people what they want to hear.
What killed GHWB was "Read my lips. No new taxes!"
