Heres the bottom line: A right cant be taken unless its willing given. No branch of our govt has the authority to take without our permission. The real question is whether we’ll give them up.

Over the months till election day, our petulant boy king will be over the top in his actions. After election day, expect all hell to break loose from him.

The people I know will fight like hell to keep their 2A rights. They know if that one goes, the rest follow and the constitutional protections we have will be all null and void. Let the federal agents lay down weapons first. Of couse you know damn well they won’t. They’re smarter than that...: )

This, I believe, is the bottom line. There is much hand-wringing and cloth-rending about what .gov does, but there is not as much discussion about "We the People" giving them a collective "NO", and making it clear to them, our employees, how they are, or are not, to proceed.

In the end, they work for us. While they may not like it, and while they might use all of their awesome authority and force to resist it, they still derive their authority from, and owe their obeisance to, We The People. We are not subjects, we are not slaves. We employ them to perform some limited and clearly-specified administrative functions on our behalf, but nowhere is it written that we give up our ultimate authority on these or any other issues!

At some point, those that seek to ignore or overrule the will of the people may find that, in accordance to the rules of 4GW and pursuant to the diktats enshrined by our Constitution, they may have rather personal skin in the game. Let us hope and pray that it does not come to that.
