Carson is not yet ready to be the president, but Trump appears to be in very good health so that is not my principal concern. As the VP, Carson can be a moderating influence and perhaps help to get legislation they both want through the Congress. Without such an influence, Trump is unlikely to get much legislation through the Congress.
Carson seems to be no less furious about the state of affairs under Obama, even though he expresses it is with less antagonism. That's good.
No. Not executive material. Not at this level. Cabinet post maybe.
VP can’t be Cruz or Rubio they are ineligible and Trump has talked about this about both of them. Carson neither because Trump has said it will be a politician.
BUT then again, it is Trump after all.
Two words: Admiral Stockdale
Ben Carson is simply not qualified or ready to be President. You have to pick someone who is qualified in case they might have to take over. There is no reason to pick Ben Carson as he does not help the ticket.
If you are trying to win NY you put Rudy on the ticket or Kasich would help in OH. Either one of them would mend fences with the party. And like them or not they are both qualified to be President. My guess is Trump will pick a good party foot soldier for the bottom of the ticket.
I hear this all too often... There’s a website that lists everyones donations.. Can’t find it after the loss of my last laptop, or just now... Every single large contractor donates to both sides (in my area) sure it’s the same everywhere. If you are building, doing roads, sewers or any other public works, its just part of the program. I can understand folks not knowing that such a thing exists, but it does. Its not personal, its just business. And its not going away.
Surgeon General, yes... no brainer appointment.
Trump has stated that he needs a political type as his Veep to compensate for his lack of experience with DC.
Kinda like Reagan and G.H.W.Bush.
Interesting but no thanks.
I’ll do you one better. Cruz for Supreme Court.
In another thread, someone floated Scott Walker as a VP choice. I think that the VP choice is coming from the establishment although I wouldn’t mind Rick Perry.
I would like that ticket.

Trump is clean as a whistle...otherwise he would not have gotten the approval of the NJ and NV gaming commissions.
And before you say that I'm naive, let me suggest that the gaming commissions are the insurance policies that the governors use to deflect the charge of corruption.
I think Trump has plenty of experience that would prepare him for POTUS.
Bennie was a world class brain surgeon, and that is very impressive, but was not a management guy.
I don’t like to repeat Trump’s attacks, but occasionally the guys hits on the truth. And Trump was right that Carson’s “sleepy” disposition is a problem. That’s not the image we wish to project to Putin & ISIS and the rest of our enemies.
Do you want Carson to bring along with him his good buds the ‘Reverend’ Farakhan and the ‘Minister’ Sharpton also?
I don’t see why not.
In our doctors’ lounge he is worshipped as a lesser deity. He is a true pioneer and a brilliant surgeon. How this would translate into VP, no one knows, but keep in mind how low the bar has been set over the past 7 years.
