Donald Trump said Monday night that he believes Hillary Clinton will likely get away with her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state. But the GOP front-runner quickly revived the visibly disappointed Las Vegas audience by promising that as president, he would be sure to prosecute Clinton.
Fox News' Sean Hannity asked Trump in front of a live Nevada audience if his attorney general would go after Clinton should an investigation find she broke the law while serving in the Obama administration.
"I think you have to do that," Trump responded, delivering some of his strongest remarks against the Democrat since he entered the race last June.

‘Empty’ threat or not, he’s the ONLY one in the field TALKING the talk.
Today’s news: Rest of GOP field says, “I would too!”.
That’s something I never thought I’d hear Hillary say. Why would she say that?
>>Another empty threat.
Yep.
Just another promise dangled to get the McSheeple into the back seat of Der Trumpenflipper’s hyperbolic poonwagon.
>>As your president, if any member of my administration violates the law,
>>especially national security laws, that person will
>>be fired and prosecuted. In my administration, no one is above the law.

He can talk the talk, but can he walk the walk?
Talking the talk is easy. Walking the walk is a lot harder and his history in that area isn't very good. He talked the talk about Obama's birth certificate and did nothing. He talked the talk about suing over Cruz's eligibility and did nothing. Why should we believe he'll do anything about this?
It’s a great sentiment worthy of a couple more news cycles, but on his last day in office, Obama will pardon Clinton for all past and future crimes she may or may not have committed; that’s why Clinton has been supporting Obama as she stumps around the country, even though said support is a millstone around her campaign neck.
Another empty threat.
----
Vote Trump in as president and then see if it is an empty threat or not.
Kind of like Obamacare? They had to vote on it in order to see what's in it? I'll pass thanks. I already know it's an empty threat.
---------
Apples and oranges. And empty threat is what you called it. Trump has no power to prosecute Clinton until he is elected. I was criticizing your claim it is an empty threat. Trump's was a statement of intent.
Four years ago Trump claimed he had sent investigators to Hawaii to look into Obama's birth certificate and he was amazed at what they were finding and he'd be releasing them soon. Yet he produced nothing. A week or so ago he was threatening to sue Cruz over his eligibility unless he apologized for one of his adds. Cruz didn't apologize and Trump did nothing. Trump had the power to act and promised to act in both those cases but didn't act. Again, why should we believe this threat will be any different? Or any less empty.

Donald Trump’s first post-debate event on Wednesday in Arizona kicked off with none other than Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who wasted no time in bringing up the birther controversy fueled by Trump himself.
“If you recall, five months ago, I introduced Donald Trump. At that time, I said a few things, we have something in common â the birth certificate investigation, which is still going on,” Arpaio told the Mesa, Arizona, audience awaiting Trump, referencing the Republican presidential candidate’s push in 2011 to get President Barack Obama to release his long-form birth certificate.

Oh HECK yeah.
Would this be the same Clinton he paid to have come to his wedding?
I highly doubt he’d prosecute THAT Clinton.
"I have people that have been studying it and they cannot believe what they're finding," Trump said an interview that aired Thursday Morning." - Link
So what happened?
It is clear that he joined forces with Sheriff Joe Arpaio who said at the Trump rally just recently the birth certificate investigation was still on going.
..Because he said he would. Is he not a man of his word?...
He did not become a billionaire by wasting money on fighting a battle already won. Cruz’s campaign is falling apart on its own weight. No need to sue now.
For eight years?
She is going to get away with it or he is going to go after her?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
