Trump: As president, I would prosecute Clinton
Washington Examiner ^ | 02/23/16 | Anna Giaritelli

Donald Trump said Monday night that he believes Hillary Clinton will likely get away with her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state. But the GOP front-runner quickly revived the visibly disappointed Las Vegas audience by promising that as president, he would be sure to prosecute Clinton.

Fox News' Sean Hannity asked Trump in front of a live Nevada audience if his attorney general would go after Clinton should an investigation find she broke the law while serving in the Obama administration.

"I think you have to do that," Trump responded, delivering some of his strongest remarks against the Democrat since he entered the race last June.

Part of what we rightfully detest Mitch McConnell/John Boehner, et al, for is that they have stated things in campaigning that they had no intention of doing.

I hope that Trump does act on all his promises that he has made this campaign, but the truth is no one knows whether he actually will or not. It's a leap of faith.

I think this will gain him even more support, because a lot of people want to see Hillary held accountable, and Trump is the only one who would actually do it.

If there is one thing we can be sure about with Trump is that he is a very smart guy, streetwise too with some common sense.

None of the other asshats come close to his level of being able to use their noggin on the fly, conceive strategy and execute with blitzkrieg tactics.

Such a better candidate than all the others because Trump works harder than the others its plain to see

Hard work politician usually don't occur in the same place

Donald, don/t forget the nefarious Clinton Foundations ....AND the administration of Bill Clinton....which is connected. Read on.

The latest news reports say the notoriously greedy Clintons used their tax-exempt Clinton Foundation charity to setup a money-making private equity fund in the corrupt country of Columbia....same type of fund Romney was castigated for having.

Why Columbia?

WIKI REFERENCE---In 2000, the Clinton administration committed $1.3 billion in foreign aid to the corrupt country of Columbia...... and up to five hundred military personnel to train local forces.

An additional three hundred civilian personnel were allowed to assist in the eradication of coca. This aid was an addition to $330 million of previously approved US aid to Colombia. $818 million was earmarked for 2000, with $256 million for 2001.

The Clinton-era appropriations for his Columbia Plan made Colombia the third largest recipient of foreign aid from the United States at the time.

--SNIP--

As of 2008, the U.S. has provided nearly $1.3 billion to Colombia through Clinton Plan Colombia nonmilitary aid programs:

<><> Alternative Development (2000-2008 cost: $500 million)

<><> Internally Displaced Persons (2000-2008 cost: $247 million)

<><> Demobilization and Reintegration (2000-2008 cost: $44 million)

<><> Democracy and Human Rights (2000-2008 cost: $158 million)

<><> Promote the Rule of Law (2000-2008 cost: $238 million)

Can you imagine this if Trump is the nominee?

In every debate with her, he brings up how her use of a private email server was a serious threat to our national security and exposed intelligence assets to our enemies - and was a treasonous act? That must be prosecuted?

Might be all it takes to get him elected..........

Do you or anyone here know if a presidential pardon protects one from civil litigation?

For example the families of the Benghazi heros and mother of Ambassador Steven's sue Hillary - gross incompetence, willful neglect, wrongful death?

Would not think the pardon does offer protection but then again I don't know if you can even start civil litigation in such matters in the first place.

Nice thing about Hillary is its tough for her to go more than 2 years without commiting a felony

Because he said he would. Is he not a man of his word?

It does not extend to civil matters. Clinton’s pardon of Marc Rich did not extend to his tax problems.
