drugs - It’s the only explanation for such supposedly smartest people in the room making the choices they did.

The problem is that these people are dumb and incompetent. And they make bad deals, but they get their small cut.

Exactly.

Because it was his "right" as a Bush "to rise."

It was his frikken turn.

He would give the middle finger to the base and then pull strings to steal the nomination.
