It is the constant drumbeat of that specific narrative that IMHO hurt him in SC. He may not have won, but he surely should have come in second by a large margin. I do believe the perception came through loud and clear that the Cruz campaign is dishonest and it most definitely hurt him on Saturday. Agree that his campaign needs a major shake-up or he can kiss any opportunity he might have goodbye.
