Criss Wallace just did an awful interview with Trump. He accused Trump with everything he could. It was truly embarrassing. Trump’s responses were very cool.

Are you on a different planet?

Did you hear the one about the guitar player who accidentally locked himself in the drummer's car?

It took them hours to get him out.

I think many people will be surprised at just how popular Trump actually is.

Thursday I left the keys at 4:00 am on my way to Savannah Ga. Along the way I met numerous people from all over the country escaping the cold. To a man they all support Trump.

The biggest supporters were those from New York state! They love the Donald and want to see him elected! It would not surprise me if hillary has to spend some precious cash in NY to keep the Donald from winning the state which might be an outside possibility.

GO DONALD!

Just watched the start of Meet the Depressed. Chuck Todd is a very nasty SOB.You could see oh his face how much he dislikes Trump. He brought up what he called flip flops on Trump’s positions. Trump handled all of it very well.

I'm with you on this one. It's absolutely astonishing how many so-called conservatives think Rubio is dirt because he supported amnesty two years ago, yet they drool over Trump, who supported Amnesty this week. They call Cruz a liar, yet Trump packs more lies into one debate than the rest of the pack combined.

The media habitually keeps their powder dry for a weak republican candidate, then unloads on him after the nomination. They have huge ammunition against Trump, serial inconsistencies, unpresidential behavior, profanity, Planned Parenthood, and Depression causing Tariffs, to name but a few. They can turn him into Swiss cheese in a week once they turn.

"Should I not believe him?"

You should not believe him. He says what he wants, when he wants, and the Trum-pets drool on.

I can't support Cruz or Rubio who are both bought and paid for lackeys of the GOP-e

Maybe, but the Canadian and the anchor baby are both ineligible. How come nobody asks them about that? They are, however, serving a valuable purpose...dividing up the opposition to Trump in the primaries.

Ooops, Bubble boy just referred to himself as a Cuban/American.

Wow, is that you Dana PeRino? She’s running her Junior League/Bow-head mouth on Fox right now essentially saying what you’re saying.

I think Rush has been coming around. After spending a few days on the non-fair and balanced podium I believe that Rush has decided to go back to being objective. The pressure on him to endorse Cruz has to be enormous.

But I really believe he values his audience more than caving to peer pressure.

Limbaugh basically is talk radio.

We can ill afford to have him being anything but objective.

Cruz, on Meet the Press, will not say that Texas is a must win state for him. Cruz says his strengths are "the only conservative who can win the race," and that he gets a majority of young voters. I don't know what he is looking at that gives him a majority of young voters. He also point out that Trump was projected to win by 20 points (Huh?) and he (Cruz) beat that expectation by a wide margin.

I missed the opening part of the exchange, when I tuned in, Cruz was talking about the Trump tweet that misattributed a quote to Sen. Coburn.

Oh, I don’t mind Levin and Limbaugh supporting Cruz.

When you look at it, Cruz IS the most conservative from a ideological point of view. And he has a deep, evangelical streak to him, like Santorum or Huckabee.

But I, like many people, think we need more than a gracious old-school conservative because we ARE in a fight for our very lives with the Left.

We need to take winning seriously. Over the past few years, we’ve had numerous discussions on Free Republic on the folly of voting for “The lesser of two evils.”

And when we apply this to those GOP candidates over the years, it IS apparent we were being screwed over, since Reagan.

Both Bushes, Dole, McCain and Romney were expert politicians but not really conservative.

Now how would one describe conservatism? Is it a belief in an evangelical Jesus? Should we re-impose blue laws all around the country?

Is it hyper-support for our police by doubling down on the drug wars? And believe me, most of modern policing is the anti-drugs aspect, that is, the most money and effort are focused against this branch of criminality.

Does a conservative oppose gay marriage as the single biggest issue? Can we really put the genie back in the bottle? I don’t want to see us give up on the ideal of Holy Matrimony, but we signed a deal with the devil when we gave marriage powers over the state in order to get tax benefits. As Jesus says, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s; and to God, what is God’s”. We gave marriage to Caesar some time ago.

Abortion. Yes, in my heart, killing a baby is wrong. It is NOT an issue of women’s rights. The Left and the press have beaten up conservatives over this, and we need to fight back, vigorously and strongly. Of all the issues on the conservative plate, this is one I am most concerned with. And it’s not just because I’m Catholic. I actually wish all these women getting abortions (and the men who impregnated them) would have used birth control instead. Oops should NEVER be a reason to kill a baby.

What makes Trump different is he is not a politician. And the list of issues he exposes that so many people AGREE on, but not enough politicians, even conservative ones support:

No illegal aliens. Just wrong. Hurting blue collar workers especially.

Trade agreements that hurt us. Think China. Also, regressive laws that benefit companies who move overseas. The highest corporate tax rate in the Western world.

The idea that Islam is the “Religion of Peace”. It wasn’t Obama who said that first. It was a “compassionate conservative”. AND just plain wrong. Someone needs to tell the truth about Islam and it’s goals over us. They want us to convert, be subjugated or to die. There is no peaceful coexistence between us and those who truly follow the will of Muhammad. The only ones we can coexist with are the ones who IGNORE much of what Muhammad told them to do!

Those three are VERY important to pulling our @#$$@ out of the raging fire currently burning.

Trump has also said he is opposed to abortion and gun control, another huge issue. Also, he will dismantle Obamacare, one of the biggest political mistakes of our times.

You can argue Trump is “just saying this” because he was for it before he was against it—which is debatable—but if you dig deep enough, there are no politicians in this race who have told us the plain truth anyways.

....do you think Trump exudes strength or does Hillary? She has coughing fits, barks like a dog, and is back to wearing her prism glasses. Her screeching voice reminds men of their ex-wives, and women of their hated 3rd grade teacher

This may be the post of the day so far.....

Oh, he knew what he was trying to do (get the GOPe Bush nominated) but it didn’t work.

He was clueless as to how to fight it, I agree.

Loser needs to go. No ice cream for Rinse. Ice cream is for winners!

Great post AB.

The Trump haters have been saying that The Donald can't get above:

20% then 25% then 30%,35,40 and when he hits 50 or 60 they will still be saying the same thing!

One might almost think there was a little bit of bias there....

Well said. People also lose sight of the role of the president. It is NOT to set social policy, and should not be to set legislative priorities either - we are in that boat because Congress is feckless.

Wall-Ass still has visions of sugar plums and ABC/CBS/NBC which will never come his way and never were coming his way.
The only worse moderators they could get would be one of his infrequent guests DNC Dave who hates all of us.
Sadly FNC is going down hill rapidly.

He says what he wants, when he wants...

I saw a huge amount of that by the Republicans running for Congress in 2014. They promised so much.

And as soon we pulled the lever and voted for them, they stabbed us all in the back.

Now just who are those droolers?

Something's got to give this time. I'm not voting for another politician.

I'm voting Trump.

Rove is so pissed off. He claims if Trump does not win the nomination that is Trump’s definition of unfair and will go 3rd Party.

No Rove, stuffing the debates with Bush supporters is the definition. GOP dirty tricks is the definition.
