“I saw a huge amount of that by the Republicans running for Congress in 2014. They promised so much.

And as soon we pulled the lever and voted for them, they stabbed us all in the back.”

I took a more serious look at Trump after the last budget deal. After getting Boehner thrown out, Ryan stabbed us in the back and laughed at us.

I would vote independent before I would vote for another traitor republican. What’s the difference if we win or lose if the republicans give the commie democrats whatever they want anyway?

Trump has always said John Roberts failed to stop Obmacare twice and the first case was all about the individual mandate. The “mandate” that he was referring to with Anderson Cooper was for insurance companies to offer plans for people with pre-existing conditions. I’ll help you out in case you are behind the news cycles on the matter. This was tweeted last Friday:

@realDonaldTrump: I was asked about healthcare by Anderson Cooper & have been consistent- I will repeal all of #ObamaCare, including the mandate, period.

@realDonaldTrump: I was referring to a backstop for pre-existing conditions. I will eliminate the law, in its entirety, & replace it w/ something much better.

Morning.

I really don't know what the accurate definition of NBC is...

Well, it isn't a foreign-born naturalized citizen, or an anchor baby.

You obviously don't know what was in the Gang of 8 bill and how close we came to having it passed. The bill would have destroyed the country faster than what is happening now. The Schumer-Rubio bill would have provided amnesty to 12 to 20 million lawbreakers giving them work permits to compete with American workers and sponsor tens of millions of their relatives to join them thru family reunification, i.e., chain migration. It would have tripled legal immigration over the next decade to 33 million. The bill would have doubled the annual intake of guest workers to 1.4 million. All at a time when we have the lowest labor participation rates in 38 years.

yet they drool over Trump, who supported Amnesty this week.

Trump does not support amnesty. Provide the source of the allegation.

The media habitually keeps their powder dry for a weak republican candidate, then unloads on him after the nomination.

They did that with McCain and Romney. Now we are told that Trump is the weakest candidate because his favorability rates are the lowest ever for a Presidential candidate. They also point to a large segment of Reps who say they will never vote for him. The Dems say Trump is the one they want to go up against the most. They say he is the easiest to beat.

Marco Rubio is supposedly according to the polls the strongest candidate against Hillary. The MSM provide push polls showing that.

They have huge ammunition against Trump, serial inconsistencies, unpresidential behavior, profanity, Planned Parenthood, and Depression causing Tariffs, to name but a few. They can turn him into Swiss cheese in a week once they turn.

The other GOP candidates have tried to use that against Trump and you see how that is playing. Trump has energized the GOP primary process setting records for turnout and viewership for the debates. He is actually broadening the party, which is dying. The GOP shold get down on its knees and thank God every day that he is in the race. His populist, nationalist, anti-Establishment message is resonating. Trump is driving the primary agenda for both parties. Immigration, trade, the treatment of Veterans, the admission of Muslim refugees, etc. would never have been discussed the way they are now.

I do wonder about Roberts but it really seems to me that the blackmail is less effective BECAUSE everyone knows about his kids being adopted.

I do believe if someone tried to blackmail him over them or threaten to kick them out of the country there would be such an outrage against those trying that it would make the TEA party seem like picnic.

So he could easily call their bluff rather than vote against his own conscience and the fate of the country.

Sadly, I just think Roberts positions are simply what the REAL John Roberts believes or his stupid way of thinking rather than blackmail. The same happened with Sandra Day O’Conner, Anthony Kennedy, and David Souter. Reagan and Bush thought that at the least, they’d be thoughtful, Constitutional jurists but they turned out to be liberal wishy-washers.

Sad, but more likely. Occam’s razor, etc.

Yeah for sure Poindexter is a huge lib donor for ozero.I don't see him in the picture however. If this was a hit look to one of the three letter agencies taking the lead but ordered by val/jar.

With the huge Scalia family uninterested in the truth this story will probably go nowhere. The proof if it exists lies in the body. Even a single hair strand holds evidence we shall never see or hear about.

There are also rumors about a meet between Scalia and ozero before Scalia's death. I don't have anything on that....yet.

Exactly. It seems the lesser of two evils turned out to be less evil than the so-called ‘conservatives’ we supported.

Republicans did nothing to save us from Obamacare. After decades, they still haven’t figured out how to respond to accusations of racism and sexism.

They couldn’t even defund Planned Parenthood after those horrendous videos. They have not gotten any thing through to improve the economy.

One thing I can’t stand is when Cruz or Rubio or Bachman (? that woman who ran against Romney, can’t remember her name)just go on and on about all the bills they “tried” to get through or “tried” to stop. “I led the fight against”...blah blah blah. I don’t need another loser who “tries”. I want someone who is going to finally do what needs to be done. And by that, I mean someone who will do what is right, not just make deals with democrats, shrink like little beaten puppies with their tails between their legs. We just keep going further and further to the left...more people dependent on government and 19 trillion in debt.

I don’t know if Trump is that person, I haven’t decided.

Several talk radio hosts are going to be sad they ever shilled for him/Cruz in the long run. Especially Levin and Beck.

Also the pundits like Jonah Goldberg will need to get ready for a delicious meal of Crow....

These facts are known. They lie about hearing them, or present the issue as if time froze the moment Trump answered Cooper’s question.

I don’t think it helps. We always find out. You can argue facts, but to simply ignore what’s inconvenient to your argument never works out well.

Trump isn’t perfect, and I still cringe over some things he says. But I’m weighing EVERYTHING, and my decision is based on it all, not just some part.

Fact is, there is no candidate that says 100% of what I believe. Everyone of them, even Sarah Palin and Ronald Reagan, was not 100% of what I wanted. But those coming closes is who I’ll vote for.

-- How do you become a delegate before the vote? --

The candidates pick them. If they are picked in advance of the primary or caucus, they are only prospective delegates until after the primary election. So, it could happen that each candidate names 29 prosepctive delegates representing the STATE of SC, and 3 prosepctive delegates in each of the congressional districts.

The only thing affected by the primary is allocation of delegate slots among the candidates.

In the DEM system, there are "superdelegates," those being the people who control the party NOW. Governors, reps, senators, assorted party hacks. The GOP has a similar set, but much smaller in number compared with the DEMs.

I would LOVE to go, and I could even make it if I left right now, but I have to pick up my kids this afternoon.

I think I’ve simply got to go to at least one this year!

We (Alabama) vote on 1 March (as does Georgia), so I better get cracking!

Onyx went to the one in Biloxi... Was it worth it, Onyx???

I’ve got to find one before he campaign’s elsewhere!

This week with Georgie -they are all still in denial. Trump is a fighter. He has been fighting the press his whole life. He owns them. The more they attack him-the stronger he gets. Marco has a ceiling too and watch Trump begin to hang amnesty around Marco’s sweaty little neck. he has not even begun to attack him yet

If Donald Trump’s 3rd wife was a Muslim immigrant/naturalized and related to Bin Laden should Trump’s offspring be eligible to be president?

As long as they were born AFTER she became a citizen....yes.

When Roberts was nominated, a few people were bothered by the lack of a record. I was looking through posts from that era, and one question was “How long before he goes native?”

Just watched the start of Meet the Depressed. Chuck Todd is a very nasty SOB.You could see oh his face how much he dislikes Trump. He brought up what he called flip flops on Trump’s positions. Trump handled all of it very well.

Agree. Smarmy is too kind a description for him, and his ilk. The part these guys don’t get is someone who says I may have had this thought in 2002 but its now 2016 14 years later. I know a lot more and understand an issue more deeply and this is what I am about now and going forward.

They expect perfection throughout one’s lifetime and thats a test they themselves could not pass.

Cain supports Trump if he supports anyone. I give him room to make statements like that, since I believe he knows the right reasons we are angry. But he got my attention when he said that. That is not what I want.. I want government to do only the necessities stated in the Constitution... and stop hindering the will of the people and the freedoms of the people. Government wants to be our parent and I’m too old to be parented. Cain may just be repeating what is being said over and over by the media.. that we are angry because government has not done anything. I think government has done enough to put us in this mess we are in. It’s the congress’s lack that has us stirred up and has made Trump’s numbers go out of site. I have yet to hear even Fox say the reason why. One of them read a tweet last night that didn’t address the reason... and I know they have all kinds of tweets or FB comments that they could have read. Paul Ryan is on FB wanting us to help him overturn obamacare.. and the comments are 90% telling him he’s worthless.. he’s on there every day asking for us to join him ... like he has not ever read the comments. They live in a bubble.. a very dangerous bubble.

I’ll be listening to Cain to see what he says after SC win for Trump. Fox can’t stand Trump... and because they can’t stand Trump, their distaste is aimed at me and others who are fed up with the Washington elite .. we are too ignorant to know any better.
