President Obama did not attend the funeral of conservative Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, making him the only president in U.S. history to miss the funeral of a sitting supreme court justice.

Apparently there are multiple counterexamples to this statement, even since WWII. For instance Eisenhower missed the funeral of Justice Robert Jackson.

Since WWII, Stone-Vinson-Jackson-Murphy-Rutledge-Rehnquist-Scalia (out of 30+) were all I could find.
