Why would supposedly closed-borders FReepers support a guy who went down to the border with soccer balls and teddy bears? Ohh, I get it the “teddy bear” thing now. This used to be a conservative website. Now it’s just the big money, New York bank website. Cult of personality is right.

That's right, Jim Robinson is a tool of the New York banks and big money. What a stupid thing to say.

The real problem is that you hate honest debate and demand everyone agrees with you and your candidate.

" support a guy who went down to the border with soccer balls and teddy bears" - j.argese

Oh, I dunno. But I don't apologize taking clothing and toys to a Mexican orphanage some years ago, and my former California church which I FULLY and ENTHUSIASTICALLY supported sent regular supplies to ministries south of the border.

Guess that makes me a radical, left wing "open borders" freak. OMG, and my wife and kids are brown skinned too! My wife is a (legal) immigrant and screaming US Patriot, so, that must make me a total, freaking Marxist. Right? That's your line of reasoning by innuendo on Cruz.

I make Cruz's gesture the mark of a Christian. I don't really care what kind of Trump-trash is spread about him.

Oh, and no, I'm not a Cruz supporter, just a CHRISTIAN supporter, and I'll make my political decisions based on my Christian world view.

a guy who went down to the border with soccer balls and teddy bears?

'Cruz, who told Breitbart News that the event is a statement against President Barack Obama's non-enforcement of immigration laws, said he will be doling out medical supplies.

'A Cruz spokesperson announced to The Blaze Thursday that Cruz would be "glad to join Glenn Beck" in McAllen, Texas to "provide some relief from the suffering this administration is causing."

'Cruz's spokesperson, Catherine Frazier, reiterated to Breitbart News that "from day one, Sen. Cruz has been leading the charge to stop President Obama's lawlessness, which is the direct cause of this humanitarian crisis." She said Cruz argues that, at the same time, "these young children are very real victims of the President's promise of amnesty-because of it, they have been subjected to horrific physical and sexual abuse from international drug cartels smuggling them into the country."

'"Private charities and churches are stepping up to provide food, medicine, and toys for these young children, which is a compassionate response that embodies American values," she continued. "But the most compassionate response-which Senator Cruz is leading the fight to accomplish-is to end the President's amnesty and to humanely and expeditiously reunite these children with their families back home."' - http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2014/07/18/mike-lee-sends-regrets-ted-cruz-signs-up-for-glenn-beck-soccer-balls-teddy-bears/
