Why would anybody expect 0bama to attend Scalia’s funeral Mass. It is not about 0bama. If the Catholic church changed its traditions and allowed 0bama to give a long political speech in place of the homily 0bama would be there.

The Current Occupant has a VISCERAL hatred for anything or anybody who would raise any objections to his self-appointed grandeur, and Antonin Scalia certainly put a great many of his objections in the dissenting opinions to the various initiatives of the Current Regime.
Therefore the haste with which the Current Occupant wants to ram the nomination and confirmation of another of his pet judges through the Senate.

I have seen Catholic funeral services before, and the priest will wave a cross around. Obama doesn’t want to see that; he is afraid that he may pass out or writhe on the floor, or levitate and slither up a wall trying to get away.

Scalia will have a Christian service. I doubt Obama would be comfortable or welcome.
