I think he accomplished a lot. I also think most Republicans will vote for Trump against Bernie or Hildabeast.

Think about why this debate is so nasty. Trump is running away with it and the other candidates, especially the establishment candidates, are very, very desperate.
This was the main reason that Trump backed out of the pre-Iowa debate. He knew that the debate was rigged to "take him down."
I give him credit for putting himself out there in an environment where everybody is gunning for him - the audience, the moderators and his fellow candidates.
