Yeah, so? Cruz and probably the vast majority of people on Free Republic! Yes, Roberts has been a big disappointment and in many ways, a disaster. It’s not the first time that someone thought to be conservative turned out to be not that conservative, at all. But, it’s a flat out lie to make out like everyone knew Roberts would be bad. I’m disappointed, but I trusted what I was reading at the time that he would be a good justice. Yes, there were other names being bandied about at the time that sounded good, as well. But, most conservatives believed Roberts’ confirmation was a win.
