Personally I give ten percent because I think it’s a good guideline for myself (and again, not to cause spiritual offense to those who DO believe in tithing), but I have yet to preach about tithing, and I don’t intend to. Unless the emphasis isn’t on the specific amount but rather to show that God is Creator and we are creatures, not God.
Glad to hear it. Paul’s requirement for giving are in many ways greater than a legalistic percentage. God bless you. We may disagree on many things, but this is not one of them then.
