I think Bush was wrong about national building but that sprang from his mistaken belief in the goodness of people.
Muslims are not good and cannot be trusted.
I remember we had satellite footage posted here on FR of caravans traveling across the desert, and it was said at the time that it was of the WMD being moved.
I don’t agree with all Bush did, but Trump just said that Bush had info we were going to be attacked, implying he could have stopped the attacks. It’s true that there was chatter, but that’s all they had. The intelligence was so vague as to not be helpful.
I also don’t agree with the nation building, then or now.
