Everyone needs to hold his feet to the fire on this, same for Ryan. Now is not the time for capitulation or even deal making. Keep the seat vacant under any circumstance.

Part of that means the Senate must stay in session for the remainder of Obama’s term. They cannot adjourn. Because if they do, then Obama would make a recess appointment to the Supreme Court.
