I agree and there was a time, not to long ago, that that would have been the majority opinion on FR. Not anymore.
One thing i find ironic, those who say Cruz is to mean and nasty, has no friends in DC...those exact same freepers used to applaud him for not making friends with “those people”.
Anyway, God still reigns and will protect His people. Off to where Christianity is still acceptable and Conservatism is consistent!
I've always like Cruz because he never became one of the DC weasels. He was elected as a conservative and he has stayed a conservative. When everyone else quit on me he didn't. I won't quit on him!
We now have a nationalist/populist running who is applauded for being a foul mouth liar. He has behaved in as low a manner as bill clinton. He has no history of being conservative and can not even define the term. His opponent is a God fearing Christian, who is a life long conservative and it sure seems like a majority of FReepers can't wait to take shots at Cruz. It can be disheartening.

This is why I don't let the downward trend get me down. I know it's all part of God's perfect plan and that an eternity with God will make all this seem like nothing.
