Oh, I don’t know. The server issue does seem to be getting out there, anyway: The poll numbers for Hillary regarding trust have really sunk with this scandal.
Also, the ad was / will be seen by a lot more people than the “targets”. The non-targets (and some of the targets) are going to see the amateurism (plus an annoyance factor), which reflects badly on the Cruz campaign. Probably, Cruz’ biggest problem right now is convincing REPUBLICAN voters he has a campaign that can win. Most of us like Cruz on most of the issues. Cruz’ 2nd biggest problem is likeability (which is where the annoyance factor can come in.)
At any rate, let me put it this way: I’ve never seen a poorly produced commercial that raised my opinion of the business or person the commercial was intended to benefit. And right now, the person Ted needs to convince is... me, and people like me, who don’t have him as their #1, but could be convinced.
OTOH, most Pub voters DO want to see their candidate be WILLING to hit Hillary, so, that’s a plus.
Not a rap fan but that’s good.
