Itâs important not to lose sight of the fact that our overbearing regulatory environment, high taxes/Obamacare and often onerous unions play a part in moves like these. Are companies often too quick to move offshore to improve their balance sheet by taking advantage of lax regulations overseas? Yes. But a lot of them in recent years have had little choice, with the anti-business environment that exists. Some companies have little choice but to move overseas if they want to survive. Both issues have to be dealt with. AMEN !!! Today 40% of all businesses labor costs here in the US is due to regulatory compliance, not the building and selling of products. That's why we have a "Service Economy"and that is being rapidly off-shored too.

Your statement cannot be repeated enough. Regulatory compliance is killing us regardless of the industry and is a huge detriment to the economy. I would like the candidates to talk more about this. This economy is committing a slow suicide.

Wow. I knew it was high but I didn’t realize it was that high. Even with a lot of natural advantages we still have over competing nations, such as infrastructure, etc. that’s still a huge handicap to have to overcome.
