Yes. I guess my point is that citizenship at birth is meaningless with regard to natural born citizenship. We still have people here who think that any citizen can be president. So we’re still pushing the basics. The real shame is the Cruz the Constitutionalist is the penultimate hypocrite on this fundamental issue.

Understood. I was just pointing out that you don't even have to make up a law. See 8 USC 1406 (Virgin Islands) or 8 USC 1407 (Guam) for citizens-at-birth, where the citizenship of the parents is not a factor.
