Exactly how many miles into space does the learned astronaut think the atmosphere extend So?

I studied in grammar school (in the 1950’s how relatively thin the atmosphere is compared to the bulk of the planet. This is NOT news, mr.kelly.

And, what is the criteria for fragility of the atmospheres? Are there tale tell sign Saying? Is it a different color? Or were you just Waxing poetic of the enormity of all things in space?
