Not at all; Reagan never ran as the savior to the nation, although he came the closest of anyone in my lifetime. He presented himself as the leader of the movement, conservatism, which would indeed make America great by freeing the American people to use their industry and creativity to make the country great. I have no idea what Trump means when he says he will “make America great again.”

Exactly. Reagan's vision was nothing like Trump's. Trump is all for big government. Reagan wanted to return the federal government to it's Constitutional limits.

I’m so tired of this ‘my faith is bigger, better, stronger than yours’ garbage. Cruz hanging on his ‘face of God’ mantra is such a creepy thing, even those I know who barely (and I do mean barely) pay attention to the political world, were completely turned off by that.

One of my biggest problems with Cruz - how the he** does one not know they are citizen of another country? That just frosts me to no end. I am beginning to believe he was propped up to run, to give cover for the GOPe. As long as Cruz was in there representing the ‘extreme’ faction, the moderate would emerge. Same old dirty tricks and the ever faithful here actually can’t/won’t wrap their minds around this possibility.
