You know, if you really think about it, that is a really frightening thing for someone to say about their family, that they are in a race to show America "the face of God". That is some term - the face of God. How does someone say that and not tremble?
This is why Cruz cannot win the General.

At first, I thought you were being sarcastic. Then, I went and scrolled through the dialogues, and they were oddly void, for the most part, of the usual Cruz v Trump vitriol. Promising.
No, that may have happened. But here he is being criticized for taking out the loans at all. Apparently, taking out a loan from a bank means you are owned by the bank and have to do their evil work.
I just find it ironic that now that there's a real conservative running for the Republican nomination, that has a real chance of winning (you know, that thing freepers have longed for every four years), that the very person is attacked by freepers using socialist arguments. What's wrong with this picture?
I know who Christ of the Holy Bible is and I know what our country was built on. I agree with Mrs. Cruz...our country was built on Judeo-Christian values.
Cruz can win the general because there aren't quite enough crazy people in this country to vote for Hillary or Bernie.

I posted an accurate, exact quote of what Cruz' wife said. You can compare it word for word to the audio. I think when one compares their family in a political campaign as showing America "the face of God" that is cause for concern and discussion.

It’s actually on my local radio here as well, and they are far from left wing moonbats. This comment of hers did her husband NO favors.
For me, if want to see the ‘face of God’, I look to my children.
