South Carolina Anti-Cruz Group Pours $1.5 Million Into Ad Blitz
Youtube & Vote It! Election 2016 ^ | Feb 10, 2016

Posted on 02/11/2016 12:12:45 PM PST by Red Steel

The conservative group American Future Fund will begin airing a TV commercial in South Carolina that labels Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz as "weak" on national security, an especially damaging claim in the military-heavy state. The ad likens Cruz to Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders and President Barack Obama. According to the ad, "Ted Cruz talks tough on national security. But look at his record. Cruz voted with Bernie Sanders against defense spending," and the ad also claims "Cruz sided with Obama to weaken our ability to track terrorists." The Anti-Cruz group - run by GOP bigwig Nick Ryan, is spending $1.5 million to air the commercial, and previously spent heavily campaigning against the Texas Senator in Iowa.

The American Future Fund operates as a 501(c)(4) and was formed to provide Americans with a conservative and free market viewpoint to have a mechanism to communicate and advocate on the issues that most interest and concern them. Conservative and free market principles will be under direct attack in America. In light of that, it is imperative there be a voice for conservative principles that sustains free market ideals focused on bolstering America’s global competitiveness across the country.

The American Future Fund is established as a multi- state issues advocacy group designed to effectively communicate conservative and free market ideals.

The American Future Fund will continue to educate citizens across the country on common conservative principles.

GOP-e at its creepy lying best.

Voting against the omnibus “give away the store to ubama” budgets means that you voted against the military? Not really.

Voting for some restrictions on governmental spying on individuals means Cruz is soft on terrorists? Not really.

Both were principled positions. Especially in the latter situation, there were other better options that freedom loving Americans and conservatives would have supported had there been an option allowed by the McConnell-Boner cabal.

No wonder Trump pulled his ad. Too many ads is overkill.

This is why Trump decided to pull his anti-Cruz ads, and will focus on positive ads about himself. Why spend his money when someone else is doing the dirty work.

Well Trump’s campaign manager just announced that they are going to start running only positive ads for the duration of the SC campaign as they feel Trump gets a lot more support with those kinds of ads.

When you are desperate and 15% to 20% behind in South Carolina, you do slanted polling and then pump them.

We are getting reports from many voters that the Cruz people are back to doing very sleazy and dishonest “pushpolls” on me. We are watching! “

American Future Fund

From the link:

The American Future Fund is an Iowa-based 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organization affiliated with the Center to Protect Patient Rights.

American Future Fund was founded by individuals who worked for Mitt Romney's 2008 bid for the Republican U.S. Presidential nomination. Nick Ryan, an adviser to Republican US Representative Jim Nussle, founded the organization in 2007, with Nicole Schlinger, a GOP leader in Iowa, as its president. Its current president is Iowa Republican state Sen. Sandra Greiner.

Make of that what you will; more at the link.

I have no doubt that Cruz is up to his dirty trix in SC. I have totally lost respect for the guy and have no intention of ever voting for him. He’s Mitt Romney with a bible.
