Ted’s done it to himself. Someone once told me “if someone hands you their head on a platter, why not take it?”
Ted’s done that through his own actions. He’s handed his opponents ammunition they will use against him. That is not principled nor is it smart.
And Ted has bought himself some insurance for the time when the wheels come off his campaign, his lies are made known, and his eligibility is denied. The insurance is Glen Beck. His campaign will implode, and he’ll blame it on Beck. Just like he blamed he stunningly bad vote on McConnell allegedly lying to him.
Lawyers are full of weasel words and excuses.
