~Long, long ago - August 12th last year, in fact - I wrote:
The integrity of a nation's borders and the privilege of its citizenship is certainly a "truly conservative" principle. More practically for this election, it may be the one on which all the others depend... And, as Ann Coulter says to the other candidates, if you don't like Trump, steal his issue.
According to exit polls, in New Hampshire on Tuesday night, two out of three GOP voters favor Trump's proposed temporary ban on all Muslim immigration - despite the universal reaction from the massed ranks of the politico-media class that this time he'd really gone too far. In other words, as I said all those months ago, it's the old Broadway saw: Nobody likes it but the public.
The only reason any pollster is even asking this question is because Donald Trump proposed it. As those numbers suggest, any of Trump's rivals could have helped themselves by "stealing his issue". And yet no other candidate has gone anywhere near it - or anything like it. Perhaps one reason why American elections have the lowest voter participation rate of almost any developed nation is because the political class mostly seems to be talking about its own peculiar preoccupations. Consider this astute observation by Steve Sailer:
American citizens have turned in large numbers to old-white-guy candidates like Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. For all their differences, both give the impression that they are running for president of the United States, not president of Davos.

Everywhere is worse than it was in 2008: Iraq, Libya, Syria... Afterwards, she joined her husband in massively enriching herself by giving six- and seven-figure speeches to those who understand that, while you can never really own a Clinton, you can put down a deposit for services to be rendered.
Steyn's on fire with this one...

Thanks, great video :)
;-)
Dobbs breaks down, completely, how Trump won....YUGE....in every demographic. I hope Rupert didn’t reprimand him, too severely :)
thx, Lou is spot on.
Thanks!
Disney not only employs aliens illegally, they have forced US employees to train their illegal replacements prior to lay-offs. Does anyone seem to care? Does anyone talk of avoiding Disney parks and Disney enterprises - like ABC News? Haven't heard a word.
If you want to take on Trump for illegals, then be consistent and take on Disney as being socialist anti-American! Right... waiting... Disney has just recorded record profits for their parks, etc... GIMMMEEE SOME OF THAT FILTHY LUCRE!!! X
Disney isn’t running for President or I would.
The Trumpies are certainly a tantrumous lot.
Trump is a guy whose personal fortune is tied up in non-movable things (casinos, golf courses, upscale housing, resorts) which REQUIRE the existence of an American middle class and upper-middle-class (and one which feels financially secure enough to engage in leisure activities).
If the American middle-class goes down, so does Trump. This may be one thing which motivates him. Conviction is good. Conviction which is tied to personally having "skin in the game" is better.
True.
Trump is saying all the common sense things most people say when they’re talking amongst friends. Of course you can’t say ban all Muslims from entering the U.S., publicly, but find any small group of people talking about Islamic terrorism, and someone is bound to say, “why the hell are we even letting these people come here in the first place?”. But of course, you can’t say publicly what all rational people think - until Trump.
Ah, yes... but Disney is spending millions to support Democrap candidates that wish to overthrow the Constitution - their news organs promote communist oligarchic policies - yet good conservatives rush their children to Disney parks... Why support one while opposing the other? :^)
Very good! if you originated that: Bravo
Cheers!
