Yes, the credit card points for Southwest Airlines don’t expire. If you just go in and purchase a ticket using any old credit card, if you don’t use the ticket, the ticket refund money goes back into your “flight account” for a year.

I encouraged my kids to get Southwest credit cards because when you get one, they give you either one or two (depending on your credit) round-trip tickets if you spend oh I think it is $2000 in the first 3 months and pay r70 for the card fee...That was not hard for me to do with Christmas, and I put all my bills on the card that I could :)

Just love the flexibility of Southwest airlines**—and the act that you get 2 checked bags free in price of ticket—good for an inaugural ball ;)

I have Alaska Airlines credit card too—they have companion fares for $100 (used to be $50) so nice if going to Seattle, Alaska or Hawaii, not sure about Washington DC though.

No, don’t work for them—wish I did!
