Radio host Rush Limbaugh says the GOP establishment's reaction to Donald Trump's victory in New Hampshire Tuesday night is an indicator its leaders are in denial or poorly hiding "abject panic."

Rush backed Rubio a week ago.

Rush didn't back anyone last week what has happened to Freeper land? He defended Rubio against some issues but he did not endorse him any more than he endorsed Trump or Cruz.

He has continually spoke of Cruz's strengths and to a lesser degree Rubio but a couple weeks ago when he was trying to get the GOP to understand why Trump was leading the polls Freepers had a conniption claiming Rush had endorsed Trump. Calling him a sellout whore on the order of Sarah Palin. Get a grip people.

Trump will overwhelmingly thumb off any democrat candidate and be in the White House come Jan. 20

If Mark Levin keeps up with his thoughtless, reckless statements such as yesterday when, as a result of his anger over Cruz's big defeat, he said voting for Donald Trump is not much different than voting for the Communist Sanders, it will hurt Trump in the general election when Cruz supporters who actually believe Levin's emotional outburst find it difficult to vote for Trump.

I am profoundly disappointed with Mark Levin, a man whom I have admired for years for his uncompromising support of conservatism and the Constitution. Levin's irresponsibility in saying such an awful thing is breathtaking, and it is more insulting to good conservatives than anything Trump has ever said about anybody (another thing about Trump Levin complains about -- Trump is "mean"). Levin should follow his own advice and THINK rather than, as is the practice of the Left, act on emotion.

How? He only has 30% support in the party

Mark Levin said voting for Trump is no different than voting for Comrade Sanders??? That is insane! If true, Levin’s credibility took a major hit.

Levin started listing why Trump's positions are similar in many ways to those of Communist Sanders, then admonished Trump supporters who are conservative to THINK about what they are doing.

I know Levin is disappointed that we are missing the opportunity to drive the Republican Party toward conservatism by not supporting Ted Cruz -- which would be true if Cruz were the nominee -- but you have to win, first. Insulting thoughtful conservative voters with such emotion-based tripe is not only a bad tactic, it risks losing the general election to whichever communist the Democrat/Socialist Party runs!

“Anyway it is good to keep Rubio as a candidate. Rubio and Jeb will share the moderate votes. “

Add in Kasich too! The “Three Amigos” are hopefully going to set about to verbally castrate one another in SC, While Trump and Cruz continue to garner more votes. I hope they manage to kill each other off simultaneously then drop out. Carson doesn’t matter any longer.

In spite of his missteps, Rubio is infinitely preferable to any other GOPe candidate, that he is now the GOPe fave shows the victory of the insurgents. But it looks to be Trump’s to lose, and he could. Sorta like the Super Bowl... underdog Denver didn’t win so much as Carolina lost. If that happens, Cruz could cruise unless he stumbles. Media and D.C. establishment will seek place minefields in the path of both. They want Hillary... she’s already bought and paid for.

“Rush backed Rubio a week ago.

Rush was put in his place.”

Sure was. It is Rush who still does not get it.

Well, it’s true. Rush was giving us a load of crap last week about Rubio being a true Conservative.

Rush also lives like a Democrat outside the studio.

I’m a fan since the early 90s of Rush.

He though is no longer a ‘leader.’ He comments on what’s going on but has left the ‘silent majority’ folks behind long ago.

You don’t even know what you are talking about. I listen to Rush everyday and all I hear is him analyzing the candidates and defending them from the media if he has to. He was defending Rubio from the on slaughtered by the media. Maybe you should try and listen to him more.

Thanks for the post.

I've been traveling for work the past few weeks and haven't been able to tune in, but just yesterday, some nimrod was saying basically the same thing even though he admitted that he hasn't listen in 10 YEARS!!. I called him on it as that didn't sound like the Rush I've heard lately and appreciate that you have validated my position.

I don’t agree. Rush SET THE TABLE for Trump’s rise. He explained to us why we couldn’t trust ANYONE that was funded by the party and when Trump showed up, we were primed.

But Rubio is confusing, as he is clearly GOPe, but Rush seems to be unable to accept that - but with that one exception, Rush is with us MUCH MORE than anyone else that I can think of, other than Jim Robinson (of course).

Agree - Rush’s prime goal is for our side to win. Secondary goal is to win with the right candidate.
