I am indifferent.
Once I might have cared about a better America. Once I might have worked hard toward building the country into a place where all Americans could have a chance to achieve their dreams. Once I might have noticed the poor and the downtrodden, and striven to help them get on their feet. Once I might have desired to bring liberty and justice to the peoples of other parts of the world, blighted as they are by tyranny and violence.
Now I am indifferent. The past eight years have taught me that I am living in something roughly equivalent to a chimpanzee enclosure inside a giant zoo. I have withdrawn from its walls. I watch, and wait. They desperately want my consent. I will not give it to them.
I pay their taxes, when I must. I donate no time nor energy toward the furtherance of their schemes. I disregard their phony elections, and all the propaganda of the seasons. I do not invest in their rigged markets. I do not buy their falsified paper. I do not work for their "corporate" arm, for it is no less an apparatus of their regime than the local EPA office. I ignore their social justice campaigns, intended to strengthen their foot soldiers at the expense of the productive.
Night is coming for them. You can sense their fear. They are beginning to lash out in all directions. Many innocent Americans will be hurt and killed by their actions, as their wicked empire begins to crumble.
I can offer no solutions - only advice that expressing the kind of anger they want to bait you into could quickly prove fatal. Witness the events in Oregon, where overzealous protestors badly misunderstood what rights they actually have to resist.
Just wait and watch, and refuse to play. Don't be angry. Remain indifferent to what you see happening. They are not even worth hating.
What is coming can no longer be avoided, but it can still be survived - by the wise. Good people will be hurt. Bad people will be utterly obliterated. But there will be something left when the storm passes.
